Default eBay linked accounts and lowered my selling limits

Hi guys,

So this what happened. Out nowhere today. eBay link my accounts and lowered my selling limits. From 3000 items and 20k limit to 70 items and 3k limit for one of my business accounts. Another business account 100 to 10 and 750$ limit. I am not concerned they are link. Although my questions is will I be able to raise them up again back to those numbers. It would be nice to sell on eBay as plus. I have amazon account that I've been rocking and getting good flow of sales. I do the fulfillment by Amazon so no hiccups.

I believe they lower the limits because I had one ebay with 1200 feedback but selling restriction due to low DSR. All the DSRs that were low given to me are going to expire at the end of this year.

Should I try to request a higher limit towards August or September. They sent it to me today. Thanks for all help guys.

Would love the input.

P.S. Btw these Biz accounts have solid standing in DSR and numbers.

If it's a legit account with all your real info, AND you aren't selling anything risky, then yes, I'd call them later and see if you can get a limit hike. HOWEVER, that's only if you fit the criteria I just mentioned.

I would focus more on making backup accounts - eB can ALWAYS just decide to suspend you...I wouldnt call in now and hope for higher limits - things can get worse

I am confused.... did you ever intend that the accounts link?

If your DSRs are lowered, are you sure you are going to be able to sell enough on BOTH accounts to stay up?

Let me know.

I really didn't care at that time if they were link or not. I had been doing Amazon at FBA.

Before I started Amazon FBA. I was doing eBay Stealth so I kept them stealth. I had to jump from McDonalds to Starbucks to get different IP address.

Now my business is legit. I buy from authorize distributor and sell. I want ramp up my eBay business accounts again. But what fluffin screw me is this one account that 1200 feedback with low DSR which was indefinitely restricted. They didn't connect it till today. My business accounts are 99.7 (3600 feedback) and 99.2 (150 feedback) DSR are 4.8-4.9 range for both.

Before I did amazon FBA, I was pulling 15k worth of sales each month from eBay. Then I said screw ebay and its evil twin paypal. So I started with Amazon. Not much better, but at least when you do FBA. They don't **** you like eBay.

I am getting confused with indefinitely restricted. Does it really mean that it indefinitely restricted or wait a year till the DSR drop off. Will it affect my business accounts.

I figured its so easy to get on eBay again. Once you get suspended. Cancel your existing business accounts. Then incorporate a new business. Then bam your on eBay. I guess its the cost of doing business.

I forgot to add I do a mixture of both incorporating a new company with stealth guide. Business accounts tend to be a lot more solid in the long run. Its easier to call CS when you have biz info. Plus if anything goes wrong. Your backed by company.

Not necessarily easier or more solid - really depends on HOW you operate...
