 eBay Stealth using LLC
I was wondering if anyone had any success getting back on by starting an LLC. I've seen several threads about it, but haven't seen anyone that said "Yes, I was banned and now have an account under an LLC that sold over $20k that hasn't been lined or banned yet."
This is what I plan to do:
Start an LLC using my actual personal info. (We'll call it Legit LLC.)
Start a second LLC that will be a partnership between Legit LLC and a relative of mine. The relative will be a 1% partner and will act as the eBay contact for the the second LLC. (We'll call it Real LLC.) This relative has a selling account in good standing
My question is, would a set-up like this fly without getting linked? Would PayPal go through the trouble of tracking down both owners of Real LLC if the managing owner (my relative) kicked up their SSN? Would that be enough? Can PayPal contact the IRS to check who the owner of Legit LLC is even though Legit LLC actually doesn't have a PayPal account? I've read that the IRS doesn't release any information about EIN numbers to the public without court order, but will the EIN show both owners of the LLC when it comes to be 1099K time?
