Default Ebay MC999

hi guys, I just got 2 MC999 on 2 different stealth accounts.

I have followed all the "stealth" rules and was able to list 1 item on both accounts but as soon as I wanted to list another item, when ebay tried to do the paypal agreement, then the browser would freeze and when I reloaded ebay, then I got the MC999 message.

When trying to list the second item, Ebay asked for verification of information and I verified the pin when I got the text on my google voice number. Before, I have been able to open several stealth accounts and the only different thing I did this time was getting the text on the google voice account instead of choosing to have ebay call me.

Any thoughts?

thanks!!

What did the MC999 message say exactly? It could be the temporary 48 hour MC999 where they just want to ask some basic questions about your selling plans.

this is the exact message:

===================
Dear XXXXXX,

We've noticed you've exceeded your monthly selling limits. Because of this, your most recently listed unsold items have been removed and all associated fees have been credited to your account. Selling limits are put in place to help you establish a positive selling history and provide excellent service to your customers.

The removed listings will be available in your "Unsold Items" section in My eBay. You can relist these items by adjusting your current inventory.

I've been getting the same exact messages. I have several stealth accounts- all successful and some created 2 years ago. But when I go to create new ones with the same techniques as before I keep getting this MC999 message when I finally go to sell (after a month of waiting) It seems to me like eBay is beafing up on security but that doesn't seem like good business sense to me. Any input? I sell t-shirts by the way (not branded)

Hopefully you been reading up here over the last 2 years. Every day there is something new, that's why the forum is so valuable, because literally what worked Monday won't work on Tuesday some weeks

The system is constantly evolving , for security and for improvements

Once you read through a ton of threads and get back up to speed and get an account going it's good to drop in here once a day and just read through the threads

Yea, I've been out of the loop with the forums the last half year or so. So does anyone have any advice on how to combat this new problem?

When you say you sell t-shirts martyjump, you don't mean you sell across your accounts do you using exact same photo's, room layouts, lighting?, and when you list them you do use something like exif cleaner to remove any embedded data from them first?

What works for me on every new account I buy 4 dollars of items from china using my vanilla visa card surf 30 min and I have no problem listing any item. Sklor taught me this and works like a charm having to use ur credit card online and having shipments being shipped to that location shows your legitimacy of your account. After 30 days I sell something everything goes smooth . haven't had MC999 in a year . Ebay keeps giving me raises . 1k to 3k selling limit within a month .
