Default Below Standard Impacts?

I will be below standard the first time on the 20th of July.
I predicted that the DR will be around 5.8%, 4% due to cancelation of suspicious buyers.
I currently have a limit of 1K listings per month with basic store.
I have over 1000 100% positive feedbacks.

What will be the impact on my selling account?
What kind of limit will they put on my account?
If I can improve the DR to <5% in 60 days, will they recover my limits?

PLEASE HELP!!!
Thanks

they could reduce your limits, possibly enforce the 21 day escrow hold, or maybe even worse...

unfortunately every situation is unique with how ebay handles it. Just work extra hard to get those back up

You might try selling a volume of low value items that will not have any quality issues and ship quickly in the hopes you will get more positive feedbacks. The problem is, IT TAKES A LOT OF POSITIVES TO OFFSET THE NEGATIVES.

You need to get a handle on what is causing these negatives and fix the issue, or the account will never survive in the long term.

You should have no more than 2 negatives for every 98 positives. Then your defect rate would be 2%. Your current defect rate means that you have nearly 6 negatives for every 94 positives. That is not an easy fix.

But, if you DO manage to pull it back below the 5% threshold, and you solve whatever is causing this, the account could survive.

Feedback is not a problem at all! I have 100% positive.
I made mistakes of choosing the wrong reason while canceling the orders! When I realize i am wrong, I am already below standard because of too many canceled transactions.

I sell tons of cheap, quality items, that never have any issues with them, and actually lose money on every sale. But it makes my seller performance ratings at an acceptable level, allowing to sell my main products without being punished for low seller performance because of scamming buyers and other issues.

I find this to be a great way of having healthy accounts.

If you go below standard, then they might do all sorts of things to you but from my personal experience the slowing of trafficc is really what kills the account. If they reduce your selling limits, it sucks, but what really makes it very, very hard to get back to green is the fact that they block most of the traffic to your listings.
I have had cases where a listing gets 170+ views and 20+ watchers for a 7 day listing, but on the below standard account the exact same item gets aybe 23 views a week, with no sale- Even at £99p

Just offset the % by selling "score items"(as I call them) and then when you are back to healthy status, just stay there.

Once ebay restricted you from selling due to Below DSR standard, is this permanent or will it be removed and you can sell again after 3 months or whatever?
