Ebay App Dangerous?

Ok so account was suspended for "security reasons"

I just read on this forum that an account can be linked by your phone number? I had no idea about this. By using the Ebay App on a phone with the same phone number of an account that was suspended you can be linked??? I also used the phone's hotspot functionality to avoid logging on with my Home IP address? Could this also be a reason. I still have 2 other accounts. But I want to keep them longer. This account lasted about a month maybe less. Any advice is appreciated.

Also could it be the phone itself. The Galaxy S6 has been an issue of concern with hacking because it's not very secure. THANK YOU!

If you used your phone with the eBay for multiple accounts.. consider those accounts linked. The eBay apps links accounts a number a ways, for example the the hardware ID which can't be changed unless booted.

In general if you want to keep your account safe.. don't use the eBay/PayPal apps.

Yeah as aspkin stated never use the apps, overall in my opinion when your starting out in stealth avoid your phone in general use a laptop/computer make a new user account
