I do this with 95% of my stealth accounts.
It is a great workaround and time buyer.
You just have to be careful because it can get confusing.
I have been doing it for a while and it works for me.

I kind of use HWGA's method as far as if i get a violation i remove the specific items and slip them to another account ... i use the same paypal and have to say though that there does not appear to be limits as far as linking ... the 2 accounts i have are 10 years and 18 months old .

Regarding "If one goes down they all go down" --

Not necessarily, that I have seen. It's like sentencing in court. It depends on the severity of the crime and if you are a habitual criminal, so to speak.

In summer 2008 I had an account go down briefly for VeRO violations (not selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ products, but in the legally murky area of reselling bundled software). It was the only one of my 4 actively-selling accts. to get suspended. The others were not even limited.

I called the PowerSeller support number and had the rep tell me that eBay recognizes that several courts have found that many software license restrictions are legally unsupportable, and eBay understands that some takedown requests may or may not be legally valid. But eBay has no choice but to remove a listing if a VeRO member files a request. She emphasized that eBay's hands are tied and a seller can only make their case to the VeRO member. She did not mention the Counter-Notice which I now know about.

Enough removals in a certain period (she did not define the period but said it depended on the type of violation) will result in an automatic suspension of varying degrees. Mine was for 7 days. Anyway, I asked if I could continue to sell on my other accounts, since the suspension notice didn't say anything about that.

Her answer: "Absolutely. I would. Just don't sell the same stuff that triggers the BSA (Business Software Alliance) and you'll be fine."

And so it proved. I agree that eBay does put a clamp on all linked accounts in some circumstances, but in those cases the suspension notice will say you are prohibited from using any other acct. until this one is reinstated. Not all suspensions impose that restriction.
