I kept experimenting with installs and you can use a ISO of MacOS... I got it to work... But their are even more steps than when using a vmdk. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_c...&v=5JVk_f2Ip6M
From what I put together you can either download a ISO or vmdk online... Set it up in VMware and plug in or create a Apple ID.. Then it might be possible to download a actual Genuine copy from Apple. But you have to turn it into a ISO yourself... (actually having a MAC might be necessary for this, it don't know yet) https://tylermade.net/2017/10/05/how...rra-installer/
I also realized last night that the download of Unlocker from GitHub comes with VMware tools in it.."darwin.iso"
But if you use them it will wreak havoc on your display make everything too big with no way to change the settings. (at least that I've found yet) so using VMware tools from the 1st YouTube link seems mandatory at this point.
The Unlocker seems to just be code taken out of VMware ESXi to add into Workstation.
