Sorry in advance if this has been posted and answered before, but...

If I created an Auctiva account on my home computer with a new IP and linked it to my new Ebay account from home, is it safe to list items through Auctiva from my workplace computer, which has a banned IP.
Many thanks in advance for any help on this.

I just asked the same thing yesterday and I was told that it is safe to list through Auctiva with a suspended IP.

As you know you must create the token with a clean ip. As long as you've done that you'll be fine.

Okay, thanks Webguy! One other thing. According to IPBurger.com, my IP changed successfully, but when I went the CMD "Ipconfig" route, it gave me a different IP which didnt change. Is this a problem. If so, how do I change that IP?

That's strange. Did you go back to IPBurger after you checked it with the CMD to make sure it didn't change back?

Yes, IPBurger still had the new IP. I am on Verizon Fios and connected by a router on my 1st floor computer. Maybe that IP belongs to the router? I dont know, but I hope I didnt mess up

When changing an ip with a router, there are additional steps you must take.

Here is a good thread by Vicvelcro how to do it:
