I have read and am re-reading tonight the ebay stealth guide (thank you!!). To clarify, VPN Client Software | 24vc would not be recommended as ebay is onto these tools recently?

Hi, 24vc is used by tons of aspkin members for ebay stealth usage without problems, can learn about why it works here

Re: PROXY servers (proxies) and VPN , TOR - Hiding your IP

Hi everyone, I am trying to get back to eBay but I need some stuff clarified about the IP address. I just phoned up my ISP and they told me I have a dynamic IP but everytime I type in on google what is my IP i get the same IP which is known as my PUBLIC IP, that doesn't change and they said that it is assigned to the router.

Also I have Iphone with a 3g unlimited internet which changes IP everytime I switch it on and off but if soemone checks it, lets say i am using my 3g from my home address but with a different IP, if I go to the IPburger there is an option to "show on map" and it shows my address. So I am guessing I can't use phone thetering?

VPN/VPS someone mentioned strongvpn, they seem quite reliable to me and I am thinking of giving it a try but I have few question's before I go ahead with it.

For stealth you need ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name and address + new IP. So when you log with VPN(having new IP) will it show my home address or it will give a random address within birmingham area ? And what if the address related to the IP is different from the one given for Ebay and Paypal ? What happens then ? How does it actually operate?

Please I will appreciate your help! I am looking for the safest way of starting on this journey without spending loads of money. Obviously with VPN i will have to spend some thtas ok I think I can do that.

Just need some direction regarding the IP, what would be the best way of tackling it?

Thank you

Re: PROXY servers (proxies) and VPN , TOR - Hiding your IP

Careful with the HIDE-type of programs - PP is not as stupid as you think...lot of detection goes into their system to smoke out Tor, VPNs, etc

Re: PROXY servers (proxies) and VPN , TOR - Hiding your IP

The hide and stuff program was just a tester really I haven't used it for anything, I was just looking at some ideas on how to change the IP and that was the only thing that changed it but it is not like that I am going to use it as it is not reliable for sure. I cannot be 100%.

But if you skip that part how would you answer the rest of my post please?

Thank you

Technically, I do know that IP can be traced to location via geolocation software but I can't write a ton about it because my knowledge is limited. I do know (at least overtly) that PP/eB don't use geolocation yet. If I'm wrong, other posters will come on to correct I am certain.

Search "geolocation" on the forums for posts on the subject

Re: PROXY servers (proxies) and VPN , TOR - Hiding your IP

I've read that ordinary HTTP proxies are a bad idea because a simple DNS check can indicate you're using a proxy (Most HTTP proxies only operate on the HTTP ports (HTTP and SSL, depending on the proxy.), and not the other ports such as the DNS ports). And, paypal does this check.

VPN would work, however, VPNs typically share IPs between many users (How exactly are you going to get 10 private IPs for $7? Proxies are much more expensive than that.). Unless someone can point me to a private VPN, where you get exclusive access to each IP on the VPN, I'm not trusting of the vast majority of VPNs out there in the sub-$10 range. (I use a VPN myself, and I'm not planning on using it for ebay; mostly for torrents.)

It seems that SOCK proxies are the only proxies that will pass all of paypal's tests and multiple people have commented they've only been successful with private SOCK proxies. (SOCK proxies operate on the entire socket, meaning all the ports like the DNS port.) However, I'm still curious if paypal can see through the host - I'm guessing that'll depend on the particular SOCK proxy provider, whether they host their IPs off their own website host or under an ISP. I don't really know the lay of the landscape, it could be almost everyone hosts SOCK proxies under an ISP so it's indistinguishable to a regular internet user's ISP host. The price for SOCK proxies are more like what you'd expect - often $3 - $4/proxy, which seems to be the going rate for static IPs directly from ordinary ISPs (Comcast, Qwest, Verizon, etc). Would lead one to believe SOCK proxies get their IPs directly from the ISPs.

Would highly recommend avoiding proxies entirely, too many variables that can go wrong, and even the ones that can't be detected as being a proxy the ips that they give are often highly abused and have been reissued a ton of times before, which that alone already puts you at a higher risk.

And yes your right most VPN's share ips between many users, that's why you have to pick the right one, check out 24vc's thread: (guaranteed fresh ips available)

http://www.aspkin.com/forums/ebay-ac...tml#post697176

But yeah no matter what company you choose to go with, I would recommend a VPN or VPS, avoid proxies.

Re: PROXY servers (proxies) and VPN , TOR - Hiding your IP

Cleaning your system and using proxies is not enough ebay now trace you through your browser using user agent strings and canvas fingerprints so they will detect you even if you change your ip try downloading a different browser like opera or chrome on your new system

I use VMware which is a remote desktop the thing with ebay is it never stays the same they constantly change things

if you do use a proxy learn to use proxifier its very simple and just because an ip is not blacklisted it does not mean that its not been used for a suspended account

so remember to change your browser when creating account and stick with that browser.

Nice one

Re: PROXY servers (proxies) and VPN , TOR - Hiding your IP

https://dnsleaktest.com
and go to blocked.com
if your proxy, tor, vpn or vps gets by this you are fine.

IP or IP type is not usually a strong enough factor to get you booted but trust me buddy it will get your name on the "possible limitation" wall and on the "watch his booty closely" wall

Wow, you must really made eBay mad at you. They know you are the same person over and over again. They're linking your accounts. You must be missing a step when creating a new account. I've never had them say this to me.

As for proxies, I'm not sure. I don't use them my self. I simply change my IP address. :)

Just remeber eBay and Paypal do not work together when it comes to sharing information. Not at the moment at least. So eBay won't be able to gather your real address from Paypal unless they really wanted it. Which I see you're pushing the limits here. You may need to take a break on eBay. Let them forget about you and try again in a week or two.

Aspkin

They begun to gave those messages to all people they track down they have a new account. They won't loose 60 minutes each time to verify for what reason you was really banned.

That message is useless , they don't say "we will sue" and they also put the word "abuse".

Legal actions can mean anything... like asking a lawyer to send you a letter to respect their TOS,etc.
