Default eBay tracking? - blue squares?

Sorry this is here ..I can’t post on the eBay tracking section for some reason???? But I think this could be important…….

Ebay tracking it could be flash..I have 2 Oz accounts and on the 16th I noticed something very strange and not seen again.

On signing into the account; then as My ebay page loaded a small square light blue in color and about 5 x 5 mm on the bottom of the left side of page slowly traveled up the page until about mid way then just disappeared ?

On the second account same thing but the small box was white in color & was on the right side of page?

Remember US & OZ are both being tracked from 15th April..on My UK accounts nothing like this. And I’ve not seen them again on the OZ accounts (same computer)

You aren't looney...I mentioned something like this a while back on another thread. When I was going from eBay to PayPal through eBay I got exactly what you are talking about...I little blurp so quickly in the lower right hand corner of my screen. It's so fast you seen nothing but a brief outline. So don't feel bad, you are not alone.

The blue squares are the Flash cookies 'Local shared objects' doing their bit.

Thats some genius level stuff Jimbo!

But I just used Cookie Cleaner and my youtube volume went back to default.

So, CC negates the threat.

i have come across a few programs out in the market that assist with cookie removals. I obviously haven't tried many so can't confirm exactly which ones work completely. Either way Flash Cookies looks to be something we should prepare for especially as eBay state they will be using them.

Did you try all the tricks and visit the adobe site, would be handy to build a list of programs that do work with this however I proper solution has yet to be found.

As if we restrict or delete the cookies we are not doubt probably going to end up having to perform the verification process at some time, as ebay mention on their site.

I guess many of the forum members will be still investigating what we could do so to circumvent eBays security tricks etc
