Default Cant find adobe flash folder to restore cookies in vista

Hi

Can anyone please advise.

i am trying to transfer my flash cookies from one pc to another - I have searched online for the path in vista but the search ends when i get to c:/....'users'/(username)..appdata

the app data folder is not present in any of the newly created windows accounts, so I don't know where to paste the 'shared objects flash folder.

I am pretty stuck & am unwilling to log into any eb/pp account on my new machine without those cookies being present.

Any advise would be very welcome.

Thank you

You don't have to be afraid, Just log in and start new cookies. I would say to do some browsing, check ebay messages, etc. There's no need to fear of logging in.

i have managed to find the folder (it was a hidden file) & i have copied the files over to the corresponding folder on the new pc but they are not being picked up by the browser.

i have tried copying the whole folder full of sol files & also just placing the sol folders into the new flash folder.

could anyone please suggest a solution as i understand it is advised for those cookies to be present to avoid any problems with eb or pp.

One thing is that the OS's are different - would this make a difference?

any suggestions are very welcome

Thank you
