Default How to SIMULTANEOUSLY run MULTIPLE accounts on the MODEM

I was wondering if I could have multiple accounts running simultaneously?

I have a couple of virtual computers (VMWare Workstation). What is the way to make them have different ip addresses while having only one cable connection?

Will getting static VPNs for each virtual computer work? Or will they still have the same ip address because they are still connected through the same modem?

Not possible. You will need multiple internet connections to do this

Gets very crowded.

Lots of things on the modem.

And messy

You need more than one connection.

To my knowledge the most you can run simultaneously with 1 Internet connection is 2 accounts, it's achievable by using a VPS.

Just use a mobile ip. Smartphone or USB modem gives you a new ip everytime you connect disconnect.

VPN's are often mentioned as not safe.

I just started using VPS's and I can easily have open 2 (or more) different eBay accounts all at once, in different windows, with different IPs (static). I can switch between them with 1 click. Or if I had external monitors I could even have a different account showing on each. I think that would be the only way to SIMULTANEOUSLY run multiple accounts. (With multiple VPS's)

Can you please tell me which VPN you are using? Also, are you using VMWare and how did you setup VPN for it?

True - with a VPS (or VPN...not recommended but for example purposes), you could have one IP for your physical computer (LAN, cable, etc) and access internet through other accounts with VPS

I'm using multiples VPS's I bought, not VPN. And I don't really know what VMWare is but either way, it's not needed. And I'm in Canada while you're in USA so my VPS provider wouldn't work out for you

The reason I use virtual computers with the help of WMware is just because I want to have a couple of systems running at the same time and to switch between then with one click.

Hope I can get this VPS setup right...

Hello guys I was just wondering what internet do you use and do you have multiple amazons?

I was looking to switch from Comcast to DSL so I wouldn’t need a modem so I called at&t and verison and they both need modems for a dsl connection so cant amazon see the mac address of my modem so its pointless to switch is there anyway to get dsl from a phone line straight into my desktop?

Or should i just get at&t DSL and use a bunch of usb modems?

Thanks
