Default 5 Static IPs with same modem Does it work for multiple account

Hi Guys!!

I recently had Installed a Optimum Cable Online with 5 Static IP Addresses.
These 5 IPs is came from one modem
The modem is CISCO DPQ3925

I am trying to setup multiple Ebay and Paypal accounts. However, i am afraid that ebay or paypal will find out that i am a same users with these 5 different ips.

Therefore my questions is "Is these 5 Static IP safe for multiple ebay and paypal accounts?? and would Ebay or Paypal view them as a separate individual acc??"

Any Advise will be Great!!

Doubt it. More like than not the IPs will be very similar to each other, usually only the last 2/3 numbers will be changed. eBay will easily figure it out...

Few digits difference is all that is needed to be seen as a different IP though...

I have optimum and used the router to change IP before I got a wireless dongle and nationwide dialup for my >500 mile stealths. A few digits off is all you need if there are not too many other similarities between accounts (address, products, listings, pictures ect.).

The bots wont catch it unless its exact match. they are simply not programmed to look for ips that are similar. Key word here is "bot"... Manual review might be another story. Still doubt it though....

Cynic that I am, I would not do this.

Been most ably pointed out that a few digits difference will make the accounts appear different.

Been most ably pointed out that the bots can not fully detect all info.

And there's the danger. If an account gets flagged & goes to a manual review, my expectation would be an assumption would be made of the accounts all being of the same seller.

Having multiple accounts is not just a matter of IPs being different.

There's much more. You need to be aware of this B4 making accounts.

I would make use of other IP options
