| frksmth | 01-15-2014 01:21 PM | Google is enabling all external images by default? any thoughts? I just noticed this a couple of days ago. Google is now enabling all images by default. If we do not want to load images for a particular sender, we can do it only after opening the email, which means that that the images have already loaded. Will this be a problem and link accounts?
This is what I read on the Google blog:
"...thanks to new improvements in how Gmail handles images, you’ll soon see all images displayed in your messages automatically across desktop, iOS and Android. Instead of serving images directly from their original external host servers, Gmail will now serve all images through Google’s own secure proxy servers. "
I have many ebay and paypal accounts (which I access from different operating systems and different IPs), just wondering if the images will be a problem...
Any thoughts on this?
