Activity: 0% Longevity: 76% | | Which is best to use Verizon Prepaid or regular Verizon mifi added to phone plan?
I am debating on getting a Verizon 4G LTE mifi to use with my stealth accounts. I tried tethering to my iphone but when I ran a speed test the download speed was so much slower than when I did a speed test on my phone itself.
Anyway, I was debating on whether to add a mifi to my plan and share data between the mifi and three lines or if I should keep it separate and buy a prepaid one and buy data when I need to. What does everyone else do? |
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!

I use tethering from my iphone, Verizon's 4g LTE is still lightning fast when you tether

Interesting.....
I use an iPhone and I don't get a third of the download speed I get normally. When I rented a mifi hotspot and I got faster speed and it is also Verizon network. Are you connecting via wifi or usb? I tried both and get the same results.

They're both good but I find my 4G mifi device to be a little faster. The only downside is my device seems to regain it's IP address more then my phone does.

I purchased a flashed verizon MiFi on EBay in August and it has been the best tool yet for stealth, it is only 3G, but it's still works great with my laptop and sometimes I forget I'm using that and feels as fast as my wifi
Also it's $15 a month for unlimited data, prepaid Verizon, and I log every IP, this device has never repeated one IP YET over 7 months now

I use it everyday, couple hours every day , I also use Comcast , and AT&T , but definitely use the verizon the most, easiest to change IPs and never one repeat
I had no idea what I was buying until after I paid I did research and found that if not flashed correct they would be shut off within 2 months , so I guess I picked the right seller that did it correctly , over 7 months now

I did a test using my phone as a hotspot and with only a few minutes of use at a time I used 1.1GB of cellular data. I wasn't streaming videos or anything of that nature, just surfing the internet. I think I might buy the prepaid hotspot and buy data as I need to instead of using my phone or adding a hotspot to my plan and sharing data with my lines.

What is the user name of the seller on ebay that you bought verizon flash drive from? I'm looking for a carrier that provides large pool of IPs. Your help would be highly appreciated.

I've flashed a lot of Verizon Mifi's without issues, the problem is when people try to push a ton of data, then that becomes a red flag for Verizon.

I just got the mifi from verizon about 2 weeks ago now, and i couldnt be any happier,
At least in my location service is very fast and i have yet to get a duplicated ip address
my fiancee has the usb modem other ten it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting sometimes, (was just a bad port on her laptop) she has gotten a couple duplicate ip address but nothing too hectic
(specially since she doesnt have so many accounts to really worry about, unlike me...)
but overrall i couldn't be happier
o wait yea i could
i didnt think that just going on regular websites, (ebay gmail paypal and IPBurger) would take up so much data) im going to have to upgrade to the 6gb shared plan now.. most likely to the 8gb plan. But thats another story

I won't go into much detail, but before you get in with VZW, people need to research the issue of phantom data with VZW devices. VZW will play completed retarded any time you talk to them about it. But, I have spoken with numerous people who blow through their entire data plan in 1-2 days just surfing the internet.
Never have I had this issue with any other major carrier and it's one of the major reasons I refuse to deal with these sc/am artists. Those of you using the flashed MiFi devices should be safe because they are using a different plan designed for dumb phones/feature phones and not data centric devices.
