IP Problem

Hi guys,

I accidentally used my eBay account using my ip which is banned. I opened internet explorer and was browsing eBay listings not knowing I was logged into my account. Therefore, I didn't have my VPN on and I was browsing around eBay using a banned IP. Am I dead? I'm thinking it's less likely since I have already provided "valid" identification (ID, Utility Bill, etc), but still... am I doomed?

Most likely not Doomed but try not repeat it often....A lot of people have done this and nothing has happened. Should be fine.

IP is important, but not that important. Crossing IP often is a BIG NO-NO.
We have members running multiple accounts off of a single IP for more than a year. Clearly they are running a clean business and not having any issues and I am not recommending this by any means just making a point that it most likely is nothing you should not loose sleep over.

Having valid Id does not come into any reason if ebay/paypal decide to limit an account.


As a one off, there should not be a problem.

Be careful though.
