changing IP - is just router ok?

what do you mean by track the IP? i was going to change it on the router then check it with ip burger to make sure its different before logging onto ebay.

It isn't a problem as long as the IP address is different.
eBay does not make notes of which router you are using.

Yeah even if your going to have only one for now should note them, incase you want to run multiple stealths later
