Default Question for those of you using smart phones for unique Ip's

Does doing this use a lot of your Data Plans up? I have 5 phones on my plan and we always seem to be going over our Data rate and to get an unlimited Data plan is expensive.

I operate all my accounts through smart phones.
One is a contract phone with unlimited data so thats all good.
My other stash of phones are all mobile network, where upon i buy data add ons for them.

Rates are expensive when you go over your data plan as i found out pretty quickly.
They give you a fair use policy but it is easy to exceed it.
However, the add ons i believe are pretty cheap and may work out cheaper than changing to an unlimited plan.

I use an ip changer app to my devices. They pretty much stay the same unless phone dies and then it fluctuates. But ive found it to be invaluable as i mutiply a couple to two phones :-)

Mobile phone data allowances are incredibly easy to go over if you use that data regularly as opposed to just normal phone calls, texts, etc. you need to either buy more allowance as has been said, or just use other devices such as a laptop or iPad, both of which work extremely well for steath.

When you say you use smartphones for your accounts do you have one smartphone per each account?

Also do you run your accounts through the eBay app or do you open safari on the phone an log in an run the accounts that way?

Thanks

No one who is the know uses the ebay or paypal apps, they leave unwelcome visitors on your device so that they can recognise it when you visit again. Halo uses a couple of her phones for a couple of accounts, and the rest are on a separate mobile each i happen to know.

If you used one smartphone for one stealth account though is there any way of being linked if you never log into another eBay account from it?

Its an ip changer for mobiles.
The ip stays across your screen at all times.
Mine stays the same but if for example my battery dies, il get a new one upon switch on. This is fine if you only have one account to a phone. BUT, i multiply to a couple of phones so i need to ensure there are no cross overs at all times.
It has a hit button, so if i have one ip and my battery dies and upon switch one, ive got a used one, i can hit it and it will order me another one unused on that particular account :-)

I started out with one account per phone which i strongly suggest you do.
As an experiment, ive now multiplied so that two phones have two accounts on them.

Always use browsers and NEVER use the app. Even a factory reset of an app will still leave a trail of information when you download it to your phone.
Yes, i remember apps being so easy but the mobile site is just as easy. Its the classic site that is a problem on.a mobile coz its so small the screen youre workibg from lol

Not at all. Use one phone with just one account and you will be fine.
Some people on the forum will advise against mobile use and advise pc access. In an ideal world, id want that. But as ive always said, i make the best of a bad situation. Mobile accounts are absolutely fine, if operated correctly.
Obviously stay away from wifi, if thats been used before. Mobile network is suffice.
You coukd tether your mobile but i have no experience in that coz what im doing is what im.used to :-)

Are you referring to tethering from your phone?
How big is your data plan? And how much do you use on average each month currently? There are 6 phones on my plan, and we never have had a data overage problem. If you have AT&T they are now offering rollover data for your unused each month, which works out well for us.
I tether off of my phone for my accounts, and only use about 6gb per month on the average, our total plan is 30gb.
With AT&T, I get a new IP almost every time I turn airplane mode on and off.

One ebay account per phone. I would just stay away from it as it can cause problems.

Why risk it?

I run 20 accounts off tethering one iphone on Verizon, and I've never gone the 1st tier ( 8 something?) of my data plan.

Wow, you guys are awesome. I'm new and I was planning on using an independent smart phone for each of my accounts. Quick search, saw this thread and I'm definitely going ahead as planned. Great group here!
