Has anyone in the US created a successful Etsy account lately?

I've read most of the Etsy threads, bought Stealth Book and had an account with IPBurger (Etsy didn't like this VPN though). I still can't get an account going. I was wondering are people still having success recently opening new Etsy Stealth accounts?

I've been reading that Mexico IP's are the go to now a days. I don't live too far from Tijuana so I been thinking about taking a drive down there if that is still an option.

Yup, that's what I've been hearing. I wish Gladiator was still around. She seemed like the most seasoned on this topic.

She just reused her own name and SS for each account. Then at around 17k when the tax information needs to get resubmitted, she would use an EIN/LLC

Her secret was to just make real accounts....

We made one three weeks ago and one last week. No problems. Dont use VPNs and gift cards wont work for VCC most of the time.

Thanks for the insight, Yankee. I signed up for an account a few months back (before I knew what stealthing was) with all my real info. My account was shut down immediately. I figured they linked it to my SSN so just gave up on E.tsy...until I found this forum.

So are you saying I can sign up in the US using say a tethered IP with my real name and SSN, find a legit VCC and use another address and email that wasn't connect to my banned account? Also, use other stealth tactics such as new user on Windows and erasing Exif info on pics.

Rather than Etsy which is super difficult to keep an account going after a suspension, have you looked at the Ecrater site. Very low fees and if you want your listings high in Google Shopping you pay a marketplace fee once an item sells. Etsy is money grabbing site thats slowly turning into a clone of Ebay

Hey
Is it worth it? I mean if Ecrater promotes listings on google then listings should get many views. How many views do you get per day and how many listings do you have?

Yes I took the advice that Yankee stated above. I used my real name and SS. Tethered my cell phone for internet. Wiped out EXIF info on pictures and created a new user on my windows computer. My Etsy has been up for about 3 weeks now. I only had two sales so far, but no suspension yet.

Re: Has anyone in the US created a successful Etsy account lately?

has anyone had success in creating esty outside the etsy payment system. I mean pp payment only.

I also wonder whats going on with etsy. Especially when your listings are digital files. I have tried like 10 times.

In my case:
I have tried using new ip, new email, new pictures with exif data cleared, new pp, new Microsoft ac ...etc
It gets me wondering, is etsy no longer accepting new accounts or something? or are some countries blacklisted? I am in a country in Africa (home of athletes KE ) where little is know about etsy. I have been having very successful accounts making good sales.
Is anyone here with knowledge of whats happening? could they be wanting aged accounts? or whats the issue
I would be willing to buy a account which is existing and working. Equally, anyone out there who need a partner in their account can get me ( dezinerjimy *at* gmail.c0m ). I am good in digital files and keyword research. My channels have made more than 6000 sales. I often abandon my shops if the bills gets so high for me. I have 2 accounts with bills of about 720$.

CAN A PRO TELL US WHATS GOING ON WITH NEW ACCOUNTS AND HOW I CAN GET BACK TO SELLING.

Re: Has anyone in the US created a successful Etsy account lately?

People like you are the problem, if you have $720 in bills that means you've made 10 folds in sales, unless you're abusing the ads and basically turning over every month. And if you're doing that then maybe you should look a little further ahead than your own feet. Either way, party's over now no more stealth accounts for you, Goodluck.

Yankee, does that affect the original SS after you update Etsy with the EIN? Because if you just reused the same SS after one limitation it’s all linked unless this is some loop hole?

I want to get back on Etsy so bad...

My only account I did this, used my social and after I had about 10k in sales they asked for my EIN and I gave it to them. If you can pm if you know something, it would mean the world to me 🙏

If you use last 4 of let’s say the EIN for your business and don’t pass the security, anyone have success being creative? It works with eBay and PayPal. Never seen someone mention this on Etsy though.

(Sorry if this is banned from posting, I’m not up to date with rules)

Yeah especially if that is to much to be paid in fees. I gladly pay fees on my stealth accounts, it means I’m making money.

I also wonder this. If you are using a tax id number for a business it shouldn't be able to ask for your ssn anyway...that's half the point of a tax id...

solefoodbk 10-12-2019 07:50 PM

Re: Has anyone in the US created a successful Etsy account lately?

My point is when you open an account with Paypal and turn it into a business you give them your EIN, and have to add last 4 of social. You can just put the last 4 of EIN and DOB is up to yourself. It's always worked for me... but I think ETSY has more security.

All these venues are not stupid, they know why some sellers create LLC/EIN.ITIN ,they are just individuals who cant USE or do not have the ssn ,SO THEY LIKE TO CALL THE DOG OUT by asking for your SSN.

I am sure HARVARD will come up with some fancy reasons why someone wont pay the bill-conserve working capital/cash.
dont they do that with chapter 11,they dont have to pay their suppliers?

Now I know why Etsy complicates the registration of new accounts. Because of such idiots who drop accounts with unpaid bills and think that they are the smarass. Now you are left without your business. And made life difficult for many others
