UK account suspended - plan

Hi guys

I had a super succesful UK account all legit - i think I got suspended because my bank card was blocked as I lost it and etsy tried to issue a refund to a customer. I was star seller also

So Im looking to get going again.....

I am going to use a family members details

I am due to move house in 4 weeks - so clean IP address
New name and address with ID
New bank account (but still in my name - do they need to no name on the account?)
Ill have to make new images I know that
Paypal - how do I get a clean paypal???
Clean email address thats easy

Any more advice please - if I dont solve this im going to be in a bad financial situ

Looks like a decent list - best of luck. Suspended due to bank card being blocked seems odd as the root cause

I already had strikes against my account - I believe they tried to refund a customer and the payment bounced. I can still log into my account just says it’s suspended

I think you should contact Etsy to clarify this issue. It seems you did nothing wrong

just to be extra safe, reinstall your OS. Treat it like amazon.

Hi guys

Another question - if the bank account name does not match that of the person whose details I opened the account in will etsy know this?

And will it trip it for a suspension?

Etsy can't see the name of the bank account by default

Bit late to the thread, but I'm struggling to believe that an account would be permanently suspended for an expired debit card.

Not even Amazon are that ruthless.....

Are you absolutely sure your existing account isn't recoverable?

I have opened a appeal but no update from them in over a week

My account had been pinged for shilling and this was a customer request I think they complained for a refund at which time the payment bounced

Possibly this second strike triggered it

Tried all of this many times, at last it was failed as etsy could trace something i did not think of, finally found a dude who really knows this stuff to help me out, he guided me through the whole and now we have 2 fresh new shops running for a year with no problems.
