Yes. Your registration address should be listed on your credit report as tied to your SSN/Tax ID. Same thing with a business address and LLC vis a vis your EIN and the business address you used to register with the state commission, etc etc

There's a number of factors they look into...I've successfully created Etsy stealth seller accounts in multiple countries all while being in the same location (my living room lol). I have an ebook on it if anybody is interested.

Hello, i'm having this exact same issue! How do you reinstate your account when the CC you use doesn't match the name on the account?

Ive had success with using a mismatched name CC but it was real, dont think it will give you trouble, it isnt charged until you dont pay a balance, or you get a refund.

If the card cant cover the refund amount its an instant and common suspension, but I didnt have a problem reinstating the account anyway (Legit Tax ID Info)
