EU citizen can open UK shop?

Hello,

I wanted to upen an UK shop, but my passport is EU one, do not have any UK ID(I am resident) and I am not sure if it's acceptable.
Is it a No-No?

It's fine so long as the registered address is a UK one

the only issue here is the credit check , if your residence is recent you need to make sure you have credit history , this can be done by opening a bank account in any major bank and allow about 4 weeks time for you to go through databases

then do a credit check through experian on yourself and see if you can be found

The passport is a document that you can use, just enter a United Kingdom address. Your passport can be from any country, you just have to have an address in the country and obviously a telephone number
