People get those emails all the time. Just take the photos and send them in. Usually you will be left alone if you show your process from the outset, but if you don't your risk getting flagged.

I have a question on the et.sy 1099 forms if anybody knows and can answer. If you open an etsy account and start selling under a SSN and in 3 months you replace that with an EIN, at the end of the year, does et.sy send you one 1099 form under the EIN, or do they send one 1099 for the period under the SSN and another 1099 for the period under the EIN?

Any help with this would be so appreciated.

I just got in for 2 1/2 days and then got deactivated. Sucks because i thought i had it.

I used kproxy .... a completely different email platform....but i had to use my SS number... i tried changing around characters in my name but it kept saying to double check....so i just put in my real name.

it then asked for me to upload id.....so i did. and it worked....i thought i was in the clear but i was wrong

I keep seeing USA account for Et.sy direst checkout harder to verify, and ssn needed but if Billing Address is no USA , can I still use USD account with First bank if my shop location is different country and billing address confirm it

Like everybody else I am trying to figure out the new direct check out option on Etsy.

I have 4 accounts that are stealth of over 5 years. None of them have DC. I have stand alone paypal for all of them. I can get 4 different bank accounts and use my stealth addresses for them. I know Etsy can't see the name that I have on my bank account but what do I do about the SSN part. It only asks for the last 4 digits but I can't enter the last 4 digits of my social with another name - can I? What do you suggest

Hello, friends I have also received the notification in all my accounts, even the one that I least expected because it is my real account of my country ... this means that they will delete all the accounts of the countries that do not appear in your list? I create my real account in vzla with real information and my address, how will I provide SSN? I can not believe that this is so, so that they allowed me to register with my country and my data if they are going to suspend me now?

My other accounts I think I saved but I still hope it works without problems.

I am a bit confused on this. So if I am trying to open a new shop as stealth with completely new information, but not a new ID I will not be able to successfully have a stealth Et.sy shop?

I was suspended by e..sy as well last week (it went so well at the time). I also need new st..th acc. went through this forum, found quite an amount of info here+ book, understand it more or less. the only thing is id. could someone pm regarding this, please? im stuck at it.

90% may use DC but if they really want the item they'll go the other route probably :mod:

Greetings from Aussie, about to get the big boot from E/ty tomorrow probably sometime - during business hours.
Have had a bit of a read here today and getting a grips on what is required to get back in and figuring out a 'plan of action' as it was. Haven't got the book yet (but it's on the list)

With new shop accounts being on a DC only basis, I too am somewhat concerned about any verification required, and I'm not sure at this stage what is required. Tho I do recall trying to set up a new shop some months ago and balking at the ID requirement.
I was thinking today about giving it a whirl to take refresh my memory on exactly what is required now on the ID side of things.

Seemingly I can get a new id, a friend said she would provide her name and address, but other than that I'm going to be well stuck.

Tried doing this last year, but didn't bargain some bleep had already had the same email name as mine as sell under it on RM.

Doubt it she's skint. I've no clue whatsoever. Need to get back on their to sell all my stuff.
I was taking in £500 per month. I'm on eBay but don't see the traffic as e t say do.

it is my belief that they cannot check to see if name matches SSN because they cannot "look up" SSNs.

so I came back to educate only. I remember a year ago some people called me liar and setting up for a service thread here.
Im back and made so much from ⊗⊗⊗⊗ accounts its insane. I did not come back but kept my subscription thinking I will share some day. \
Specially when she asked me for money to figure it out and I did it by myself.

I actually have 2 legit UK acounts ready to go just dont have products.
and no they are not for sale, they are my backup as you know, you need backup for everything you do

You can work Etsy and make bank. I just got accepted to Amazon............party party.
NOt normal Amazon been there for years but Merch.amazon epic
My income just trippled and it took me a year to get approved.

Grow up. Go back to BHW and convince folks you’re making $700 a day making those UK Etsy shops that you claim you’re such an expert in. If you were as clever as you thought you’d be able to make US shops, but that’s clearly not the case. You got shut down for DMCA violations, so that right there says everything anyone needs to know about you. Stop selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ and you won’t need to come back to “educate” us mere mortals with the knowledge you don’t have.

Must be sad to be a grown man and have a “girl” rattle your chain this much.

Like others, my etsy shop was suspended due to a handful of claims that I immediately took care of and refunded but etsy still suspended me.
I literally need someone to break it down for me, I'm not the greatest with computers or IP stuff...the stealth link I've seen posted won't open for me.
Anyone had any luck actually appealing these suspensions? If I can't figure this out...are there any other similar selling platforms that I can sell on? Thanks in advance for any help!

Hello,

All USA accounts require SSN,
What you need is accounts open from Latin America, but you need someone open them from the existing country. The VPN Gets detected from the begining so you you need someone manually do this for you.

I have open around 200 accounts this way and its the only way you can get around to make something without getting linked. having in mind that you need to buy the ebaystealth to master the steps. Hope this helps.

my etsy account was suspended 2 years ago because of claims about damage products and customers in other countries getting there products late. I tried a lot of things to try and get back on etsy but have had no success and moved on. I've been struggling on other sites since I lost etsy and want to try again to make a stealth account. Gladiator, if there's anyway you could provide me some information on how I could accomplish this I would really appreciate it.

How does this work? You open an account in say, Mexico, but you ship from US. On Etsy's end you would appear to be a Mexican drop shipping from the US. What type of information do they ask you when you open the account?
