I'm in the UK so I don't know about the US. But I believe registering a business is the way to go.

I just got booted off, as a business. And will now open a new business and go back on. I've never actually been asked to give Etsy ID proving who I am - my old store was on since 2013, so perhaps asking ID is a new thing...I shall find out soon, but anyway I will use my sisters.

I also have a brand new fresh IP which is mine and has only been used by me

It might be overkill but remove all your extensions on your browser, if they are super smart (which I doubt they are) they can make a profile of you based on browser and extensions.

Can I open Esty account as a seller from Nigeria using my Nigerian IP? I also plan to ship from Nigeria and how will I receive my payments after sales because I don't have PayPal but i have Payoneer instead?

How do you update your listings and manage when you’re not in that country? You still buy a VPN?

Does IP address change also show a location change? My stores were all deactivated. My husbands name was on a small store that was also deactivated. He never sold enough to need to give them his SSN. Can I use his info to start another store or will they be able to see his physical location and kick us off again?

has anyone had success in creating esty outside the etsy payment system. I mean pp payment only.

I also wonder whats going on with etsy. Especially when your listings are digital files. I have tried like 10 times.

In my case:
I have tried using new ip, new email, new pictures with exif data cleared, new pp, new Microsoft ac ...etc
It gets me wondering, is etsy no longer accepting new accounts or something? or are some countries blacklisted? I am in a country in Africa (home of athletes KE ) where little is know about etsy. I have been having very successful accounts making good sales.
Is anyone here with knowledge of whats happening? could they be wanting aged accounts? or whats the issue

I am good in digital files and keyword research. My channels have made more than 6000 sales. I often abandon my shops if the bills gets so high for me. I have 2 accounts with bills of about 720$.

UK does have something equivalent to our SSN,just like Canada has theirs.
Etsy in some way is more advance since it has formed deep link with Google,but in some way,not so,its customer service is third world country!
yo can go to Etsy seller forum and see if someone from UK has posted,but you need a working Etsy account to log in ,you can still read what has been posted by others

You create a new etsy shop where ETSY payment is not eligible i.e you can get your money only via paypal, but you have to find someone de create your etsy shop abroad and Add a card for fees

Dont open US stealth shops because of SSN requirements.

EU based shops are working identically as US, and are easier to open.

Mate, relax.

Stealth is working you just need proper setup for that. No need to post multiple replies in every thread.

You just enter new name when creating shop and your new bank account. Mismatching names work but depending on the bank.

The rest is:

1) New user/laptop
2) Fresh and dedicated VPN
3) New VCC
4) New bank account
5) 100% new personal info (name, surname, address, number)
6) Docs to verify your account
7) New listing photos or with EXIF data removed if there's any

Is there a step by step guide for Etsy like there is for eBay + PayPal?

After my suspension I want to create new accounts with care and paying attention the details.

I am especially interested in how I can verify the Etsy account owner and the bank account owner with IDs if it is not me.

Does etsy store your ssn for later incase you would like to try a new account? If they do not, it should not be too hard to get a new account.

What are the solution for the case, when I cannot use my own bank account for withdrawing money?
What other payout options do I have with stealth accounts on Etsy?

I can get identity (and copy of ID card) for creating account, but I cannot open normal bank account on behalf of them.

Earlier I could use PayPal easily for this.

You can use bank accounts under your name, and put stealth info in Etsy.

You can still have standalone Paypal shops. Nothing changed

sometimes they will require identification to make sure you are the account holder. ID, DL, passport, etc are accepted it depends on what specifically they request.

hi DUAB, I'm from South East Asia (Indonesia). I have problem when opening an account on etsy (always shut down in couple hours). I tried Nord, Cyberghost and some others VPN, but got the same result.

Its better you start reading forums how to properly operate accounts. You need to use your EIN codes. Same way as with any other account: ebay, etsy or amazon.

which country did you use for Paypal back then?
I still have 2 stores in Israel with 30+ sales both which I paused years ago. Will I be ****ed? In Etsy it is said that Etsy Payments sys is not available for Israel. Does that mean I am still gonna be using Paypal?
