I so wish I had found this site so much earlier! Et.sy closed my account about 2 years ago. About 1 1/2 years ago I opened my second, with new everything (email, PP, photos, etc). I have had no problems with it. To log into E.tsy, I use a remote login service to log me into my sisters computer, so I am using her IP address. This is the biggest pain in the butt and I want to be able to log in from home. Will someone be so kind as to confirm that if I use a new computer and new router (which will give me a new IP address) I should be fine? I have this new equipment all ready to go, but I'm afraid! I've finally gotten my shop back to regular sales and 100+ items in it, and I really don't want to lose it again! I should be ok, right? Thank you!!!

That part is OK, but you are still vulnerable to etsy cliques and arbitrary suspensions. Have another one or two accounts in the background being nurtured and grown.

Why was your shop initially closed?

You are never truly "OK" on Et.sy. It really depends on why the shop was closed and what niche you sell in, as to the competition. I took my eggs out of that basket a while back because I found that the typical Et.sy customer in my particular niche was not savvy to internet purchasing and needed a lot of hand-holding, and it caused a whole set of headaches that I am glad to be done with. To your original question, a lot more than IP can link you (items for example) but if you have made it this far you may be in the clear but then you may not, you may be like me and have one or more competitors determined to take you down and not just on Et.sy. The cliques and viciousness are very real.

Welcome to the forums - while you don't need a new computer, you do need new IP - you can make a new user account on the old computer. Rest of stealth steps apply

You sure aren't lying about the hand holding part. I had one customer LOVE my product but gave me a 4 star instead of a 5 because I didn't "thank" her for her purchase and she claimed I never sent her a message regarding her products shipping. I messaged her and told her that I sent her a full message when her items shipped and provided her with a tracking number. She responded saying she had a bad day and she would change it. Customers there can be unpredictable.

BTW, I read on another thread that you moved to greener pastures. Are you on another platform? If so, would you mind saying where? I would love to expand beyond etsy and ebay if possible. I plan on opening up a stand alone website as well.

What I am doing now is totally unrelated so it wouldn't likely be any help here.
