About 7.6 billion years from now, the sun will reach its maximum size as a red giant and bake the earth like grandmas turkey. until then we will all be in the simulation.

Turns out after about a billion years the sun will be too hot. The Goldilocks zone will increase and Earth will be more akin to Venus.... Mars is our next best bet. We can't move to Jupiter next. Some major innovation will have to occur and luckily the human race has been around for only 200k years, modern civilization being 6k of that. No man knows the day or the hour, It's possible that not even the Son of God knows. Common sense and application of scripture regarding end times prophecy would dictate that our society is reaching it's end times, the moral decline alone is enough to tell us that if humans, Christians, believers are disgusted by the condition of this world then just think how God see's things. I won't guess how long this world will last before God intervenes but I will say It's not much longer.

I remember reading about an MIT Computer Model developed by MIT specialists in the 70's predicting the end of civilization by 2040.

It was based on many contributing factors such as:

Biological
Chemical
Nuclear
Pollution
Population Growth
Availability of Resources
Quality of Life

I personally can see anyone of those to all of the above causing an apocalypse.

I use to worry about the world ending, but now i sit here, we all are going to die anyways..sometime...fk it lol.

Biochemically speaking we're made from the same elements found in rocks just assembled in a far more complex manner.

Go back before evolution when life was simple chains of amino acids and you can't distinguish between what is technically 'living' and what is not.

Only way to define 'alive' is if you can kill it, and even then what remains are the same elements found here and throughout space....

I'll probably get cryogenically frozen right next to Walt Disney.

I feel it's all incredibly illuminating.

NASA just announced they are returning to the moon to begin exploring what building on mars would be like. If you really want to think about it right now are the very first actionable steps being taken in interplanetary colonization, ever.

In around a billion years earth will end. By then, most humans will be living on other planets.

HOPEFULLY! "Only" need to terraform Mars by melting the polar ice caps / frozen water in soil to begin releasing greenhouse gases and create a livable atmosphere.
