There's no need to refute my posts, lol. I pointed out in the first few pages that I'm just reporting numbers and mathematical trends. I don't pretend to know what's going on or how it will end. Just analyzing the data available to us. | I'm certain of myself, based on what's currently happening. Now, if we have some revolution in this country... well, things might change. But the way we are handling things, it's almost completely impossible for millions to die from this virus. It won't, and it can't happen. We'd have to go back to life completely as normal, as if nothing happened at all, for millions to die. Even if we find a magic cure for this, today, society as we know it will be radically altered for many months, if not years. People will be social distancing more. They will shop online more. They will travel the world less. More businesses will have people work from home. School from home will become more and more popular.
So even if the lockdown goes away, while the virus is still here, it won't spread as quickly.

Woman arrested for licking groceries
A California woman has been arrested after licking $1,800 (about £1,450) worth of groceries and other items at a supermarket in the northern part of the state, police said.
Chris Fiore, spokesman for the South Lake Tahoe police department, near the border with Nevada, told AFP that officers were called to a Safeway store on Tuesday following reports of "a customer licking groceries" at a time of heightened fears over the spread of the coronavirus.
"When officers arrived on the scene, a Safeway employee informed them that the suspect put numerous pieces of jewellery from the store on her hands," he said. "The suspect licked the jewellery then began to load her cart with merchandise from the store."
Mr Fiore said officers located the suspect, identified as Jennifer Walker, inside the store with a shopping cart full of items, including meat and alcohol, which she had no means to purchase.
Ms Walker, 53, was arrested for vandalism and the merchandise had to be destroyed for fear of contamination.

Welcome to America. People are doing crap like that everywhere. Some walmart employee was arrested last week for "making terrorist threats" after posting videos online of him licking stuff on shelves.
What kind of country gives a person likes for licking groceries? EDIT: wait just a minute. How much were the groceries really worth in this case?

The sun set on the British Commonwelath longlong time ago! | Be that as it may, I think it's pretty clear at this point that human beings are the primary carriers responsible for this exponential growth. Trying to track it down further than that is pointless since anyone who knows isn't going to say.
Also, the UK has a lot more influence and power in modern times than you're probably imagining. All roads lead back to London. Always.

so what happens if a year from now, once we get antibody testing of everyone, it turns out that we were off by the total case count by about 100x? John hopkins is already saying estimates are 10-100 times higher. So when this turns out to have an actual fatality rate closer to the flu, will government officials be tared and feathers and then shot in the street? lol

Asymptomatic cases are largely unknown. Which, again, levels the playing field when comparing CFR.

This has nothing to do with reported cases.
The numbers for covid are reported, is apparently 10-100x LESS than what it actually is. Therefor, the estimates are showing it could be just as high as the estimates for the flu. I would bet good money we will never do mass antibody testing, because that will show that the actual mortality rate for this thing, is not even close to what they are currently saying.

I think regardless of what the rate ultimately ends up being, it's alarming how many Americans are dying every day from this now. I don't think any amount of number fudging is going to bring influenza's daily death count in the US up to ~1900 like we're seeing now with covid-19. I understand that there probably are other things killing 2k Americans every day, but there's no point in trying to view a new phenomena that's killing thousands of Americans each day with rose colored glasses.
