I can't believe I'm actually having to write this: "Which is" in this context means "equivalent to" and another way of expressing this is "as good as".

"which is 10 different email addresses per account" = "as good as 10 different email addresses per account"

Hey guys, just to clarify, I was looking for a way to make email addresses that's easier than gmail, that's all. I can make a gmail in about 3 minutes, but gmail has some issues: you need a phone number and sometimes when you change your browser it wants to verify again. Protonmail is better but it looks shady.

It might be easiest to just use one of my own domains.

Because mail.com is just a (worse) reskinned version of gmx that doesn't even support mail forwarding unless you pay for it; mail.ru is a completely separate service that does allow mail forwarding for free.

I would always phone verify Gmails otherwise you will find yourself locked out. One thing you can do is add a forwarding address to the new gmail in case you do get locked out.

Gmail still works - I also have access to private hosted e-mail provider of my own that I use for self-owned domain e-mails though
