1099 paper mailed

Has anyone got their 1099 sheet mailed in the mail? I did. If so is there a way to just get that PDF only? thanks

Both eBay an Amazon 1099's are pdf downloads they do not mail them.

with paypal ,you can find it in your account,same with Etsy

I've seen all the 1099 PDF's on my accts. But I got a few paper versions mailed to me or versions of me.

I got a paper version as well for my only account that hit the mark this year.

I'm trying to create new accounts but with stealth addresses but am concerned of having my 1099 go to an address where someone could get my personal info (name and SSN)

Any suggestions anyone? I've heard adding a letter or basically faking an address- but wouldn't eBay catch this if eyes ever got put on the account? If the address looks weird, would eBay verify it actually exists?

Ebay does mail a paper copy to seller ,as some sellers do not have printer.

So you are saying if I print out the PDF 1099, Ebay won't send out paper? So that means they 'sense' you downloading the PDF before you print? I didn't like downloading anything from sneakybay.

This is an interesting theory- if they know that you download the PDF they won't mail one.

I got mine mailed this year but don't think I downloaded it first. I could be wrong.

No.it could still mail you a copy

Hello

I have never had a 1099 mailed to me from eBay or Amazon over the last 10 yeas either on an actual account or a stealth one. Think of the millions of dollars it would cost and I may not have downloaded them until September as I always defer my tax return until October

I previously got a 1099 mailed last year for 2021 (didn't get a 1099 this year since I was below the tax requirement).
