Most of my sales are to the USA, and I’m not really sure what to do going forward. My items range from £100 to £350, and I have no idea how much buyers will be charged once the parcel arrives. I also don’t want to risk receiving negative feedback due to unexpected customs fees.
Should I cancel all shipments to the USA, or is there a way to pre-pay the import charges for them? If it’s around $50, I’d be happy to cover it, but anything more would eat into my profits.
I went to the post office today to send something locally, and the guy behind the counter said, “Oh, not to the US, is it?” Are things really that bad?
