| | | ebayhateluv | 12-09-2007 04:01 PM | HI- Square trade works ONLY if buyer agrees.. OR, if they do not respond. If you get a real B***h--forget it- you keep the neg- or in a couple cases, I ended up refunding their shipping, for items not wanted, which i could have done and avoided the extra fees to begin with-- best bet, though--HOPE they do not answer... |
| longisland88 | 12-10-2007 02:18 AM | After 320 positives I got my first negative the other day from a user with only 2 previous transactions. I left neg in return and requested mutal feedback withdrawal but he/she is not responding. Im thinking that I will refund $1 to this person, and then open unpaid item dispute. I think its likely this person wont respond in time as he she rarely uses ebay, and then the feedback will be withdrawn! Imjustme what do you think of this? |
| Chris Hanson | 12-15-2007 01:13 PM | Ebay buyers are Dumb Why are Ebay buyers so dumb..
I just sold 2 Dell laptops on Ebay for over $1500 dollars and the Laptops are on Dell's website for only $789 but with a $150 instant savings there only around $599 plus shipping..
So All I do is buy the laptop from Dell and ship it to them..
WOW LMAO
Seems Ebay buyers are too lazy too look around.. |
| ivegotinfo | 12-15-2007 01:34 PM | lol are you serious omg...
i think its because they instantly think everything on ebay is cheap. |
| ebayhateluv | 12-15-2007 01:48 PM | Yes, Ive done that before on a digital camera, it was started at $1.00 at got bid up to $2499. it was a nikon dslr, i bought from ritz camera for $1899, after buyer got it-- they put in paypal dispute-(buyers remorse)--now i had back a camera that was sealed, now opened.. to resell.. |
| Chris Hanson | 12-15-2007 02:43 PM | So why did you take it back? |
| ebayhateluv | 12-15-2007 02:47 PM | to keep the peace, and my rep....i even took back competitors products and replaced with new...i would refund + sometimes let them keep the product, i would even send a preapid return label for their items to come back to me..bent over backwards to keep the 100% fb... |

| Ballsack | 12-15-2007 06:49 PM | That is pretty goddamn dumb. What is even worse is just the lack of complete common sense from ppl. You can actually use this to your advantage though. Depending on the kind of product you're selling you can simply lie about it and pump it up beyond what it's actually worth knowing full well alot of buyers won't bother to reseach it. |
| Chris Hanson | 12-15-2007 07:37 PM | LOL..I couldn't believe it at first but then I did and I was like wow! Buyers are really brainwashed |
| Jonas | 12-15-2007 08:31 PM | Other times ebayers are so stingy they get things where I only make 40 cent profit and it sells at like a fifth retail and if there's the slightest thing wrong, they go crazy. |
| powerbid | 12-30-2007 04:24 AM | crazy buyer need help hi,
i need advice regarding crazy mad rush/fraudulent ebayers who orders products pays for standard (non-trackable) delivery and then later claims item not arrived and refund... i know you cant really fight paypal or the buyer in this regard, if i offer a partial refund i.e will paypal consider it as refunded ??? if later buyer opens a item not received claim.. ???
awaiting reply
thanks |
| sycore | 12-30-2007 09:29 AM | First, I use signature confirmation on everything and add it to their shipping. Second, if a suspect a person will give me trouble I don't ship. Wait a week or so for there email asking where it is, and then tell them it most have gotten lost and I will refund their payment, while I "look into the matter":) This way you can't get nailed for non-performance through ebay.
If you have confirmation you can just enter the number and take your chances with paypal resolution, but I don't think a partial refund will protect you from a buyer complaint for full refund. |
| Jonas | 12-30-2007 11:45 AM | Signature confirmation to foreign countries the cheapest I can find is registered mail, which adds $12-13 to the postage and worse of all requires a long wait at the post office. Anyone found cheaper? |
| koalawash | 12-30-2007 11:57 AM | Also keep in mind (if you're in the US anyway) that the only foreign countries where Paypal will accept ANY kind of tracking information are Canada and the UK. Shipping to anywhere else, tracking won't help your case out at all. |
| pauluss | 12-30-2007 02:16 PM | using a few 'smarts' try and find as much details as you can on them
You'll have name, address, email, phone number
Now go get your gift card, set up you new ebay & paypal ID, head to an internet cafe and set up a new ebay ID in your rogue buyers details
After a day or so list a few risky items PS3, sat nav, XXX rated dvds, nazi memorabilia - be creative
Then maybe have a chat with live help and better still send a few emails requesting
what the best price to start counterfeit DVDs at ?
is there a catergory for an autographed bible ?
can i combine shipping when sending out bomb parts to iraq ?
am i allowed to list a used once parachute with small red stain ?
ALL the time giving clear directions & links to the REAL established account that is still live
Before you can say 'trust & security' he will be in receipt of a nice NRU logo next to his feedback score

| highwhey | 12-30-2007 06:42 PM | Chargeback from old buyer So before I got suspended and my paypal account got limited I sold stuff, I sold this guy 2 2900xt's (pc graphics cards) for like nearly 900$. He recently sent me an e-mail, I responded to him that I'd been suspended. Next day he's trying to do a charge back, now paypal is most likely going to grant his chargeback. I already lost the tracking number. He got a partial refund of 200$ a few months ago from stating that he never received the items but I only had 200$ so he got that, now he's trying to do a charge back...SOB. I have my bank account and cc on paypal, whenever I try to remove my cc paypal gives me an error (go figure). What can I do?
Does paypal take you into collection for debts? I was thinking I can call up my bank and block paypal, but will they report me to the credit bureau? |
| pauluss | 12-30-2007 07:09 PM | ;) Glad To Be Of Service.............. ;) |
| ivegotinfo | 12-30-2007 08:18 PM | lol paulss that is some awesome advice!! to get back at ebayers who are *******s. nice. |
| ivegotinfo | 12-30-2007 08:24 PM | if you dont have your tracking number i dont think you have a case..... all odds against you...
try to get unsuspended though! ask ebay for the form to fax in. worth a try. |
| sycore | 12-30-2007 09:44 PM | First thing tomorrow, go to the bank and tell them your wallet/purse was stolen and you are worried about identity theft. Demand they close down the bank account and issue you a new card. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 09:21 PM. | |
