Default Buying a new computer.. advice?

I'm in the need for a new computer. I was actually looking at buying a refurbished one? or should I buy new?

I'm looking at these two machines:

Refurbished one:
Buy the Gateway DX4300-22 Refurbished Desktop PC at TigerDirect.ca

New one:
Buy the HP Pavilion p6520f WW640AA#ABC Desktop PC at TigerDirect.ca

Advice????????

I don't know alot about computers but a I know a little. I don't want a barebones one but I don't wanna buy a high tech gaming one either. Im looking for something in the middle but has a little juice to it

thanks guys

Always Always Always Buy NEW when it comes to your Computer.

9 times out of 10, refurbished means fixed with parts from another broken Computer.

Who wants that?

Actually, most of my dell computers are refurbished. I bought most of them from the USA, directly from dell.com. They sometimes have good deals on refurbished computers.

Dell.com also have scratch and dent units. I recommend you to purchase these type of computers directly from dell. I have purchased two scratch and dent units in the past and I could NOT find a single flaw on it. I tired looking for an hour to see for any scratches or dents but could not find a single one....

Since your in Canada, I recommend you to ship it to a relative in the USA and pick it up from there....

If you stay for a couple of days, you will build up allowance which can be found on CSBA.....

If it's going to be your main computer, or one that you use regularly, new always.
