It's pretty useless if it only allow you to control windows 7 on your iPad needing a desktop running it natively. How misleading...
By the way, windows 8 will have native ARM CPU support. In another word, it can run on virtually any mobile devices natively.

Not to mention the handful of tablets that actually run Windows 7. And I think ViewSonic's tablet dual boots with W7 and some other OS.

Hmmm, It was pretty late when I uploaded this, and I was sleepy, but decided to upload this for the ipad users (im strictly android). Anyway, I could've sworn that this was not going to "need" a desktop in order for you to use windows on the ipad, and it'll be similar to the VMWARE you'd use onto your desktop.

Well I'm going to wait until the Samsung Galaxy Tab comes out, the ipad 2 doesn't stand a chance against that, hopefully I'll be able to run windows on it. Another good cheap honeycomb tablet thats out now is Acer EEE Transformer, its called transformer, because you can turn it into a laptop as well, look it up, so beautiful.

For $50 more, you can get Acer Iconia A500. Lighter and thinner than Transformer and has better specs. Can also plug keyboard directly into its USB port. The keyboard dock is ok on the Transformer, once it actually comes out. But, most of the companies are launching docs like that anyways.

Asus tends to think they are Apple at times. And it shows with products like that. Each company is complete bulls h i t, but Apple got the trendy train going long before anyone else and that's about it. Because it has an i5, I'm supposed to drop $1K-$1.1K? Haha...dumb Asus. That company has enough problems trying to even get their crap on the market and they continue with nonsense like this.
Not to mention, it looks like a total brick. People are complaining like crazy as it is with the weight of the 1st gen iPad which was only 1.5lbs. This thing is not going to be any convenience and for that price, you can get insanely thin and light laptops with even better specs for MUCH less.

I reported this last week:
Acer 10.1" LCD Dual-Core, 2GB RAM, Windows 7 Laptop Computer with Webcamsow
how about an actual Windows 7 dual core tablet with a laptop dock. This actual is running native windows 7 in a full featured tablet Acer 10.1" LCD Dual-Core, 2GB RAM, Windows 7 Laptop Computer with Webcams at HSN.com

Too bad reviews on that thing are horrible everywhere. And specs are not sufficient for running W7. Still got some R&D to do until a decent product will show up. As long as they are trying I guess.

You know what, sometimes you just can't go by reviews, or what everyone else says, because when you try it for yourself, you may end up liking it, and will definitely be happy that you didn't listen to those people.

I like them both so far for what I am doing.
And my knowledge on these things comes from experience, even with Asus. I have paid those high and mighty prices for Asus products and they failed. Their lower priced products usually fit their price points well. Just this "high end" nonsense doesn't always fly.

Good choice, I was thinking about the asus transformer, but didn't see anything on specs between the transformer and a500. I also wanted a laptop, which is why I was leaning towards the transformer. I'm also liking the samsung galaxy tab 8.1 inch, thinnest tablet, faster than ipad2, and their new upcoming phone is flawless.

The new Tab lineup from Samsung is going to probably be the best Honeycomb tablets available. If you can wait for them, definitely do so. I'm just very curious on price range. Their last tablet lined sucked hardcore and the prices were ridiculous so hopefully they can improve.
So far, Android Honeycomb and Blackberry QNX operating systems seem to be handling web browsing quite well. Even with eB ay and Pa yP al. Apple's iOS is absolutely horrible and is a complete waste when it comes to web browsing. Drives me insane and can't handle scripts for s h i t. Stay away if you intend to manage eB ay and Pa yP al heavily on your tablets like I do.

I didn't even see your post. I am definitely looking forward to the new Samsung Galaxy Tab lineup. They are very thin, even thinner than the ipad 2. I just wish it could turn into a laptop like the EEE Pad Transformer.
I personally think Archos Is the best "underground" Tablet creator, in other words, they aren't mainstream, and they do really well. They also have the best tablets for your money.
