While you're in school I would stay away from the single mothers. It will start out simple but then turn complex when the kid gets involved. Single moms are fun at first but quickly expand the family thing and you get trapped.

Schrib, you have got some very good advice on here across the board. That area sounds more countryside/village type setup to me. I'm down London, so none of that rubbish up my way as you have anyone & everyone mixing & crossing each others paths daily.
