Hay John,

How did you get into Forex, and is it a profitable system to get into?

and do you have any information on how to learn all that stuff????

unknown_user 06-21-2008 05:05 PM

well you can see from my last post in every thing else that I had my car recently stolen. lol (pix are included in that post)

I HAD a 99' Porsche 986 with carbon fiber everything interior wise etc.
I have currently a Cadillac SRX V8 AWD Fully loaded 04
and a 07 Nissan Altima.

Future car... perhaps a BMW or Mercedes. I thought about a C55 Mercedes however I like the M3 :D

Well got into the forex when ebay kicked me off.
You can learn all that you need to know from babypips.com
I learned EVERYTHING from babypips.com
It is very profitable if you have a standard account and if you have a mini account you wont make that much but you will make enough.
In the standard account a pip is $9.95 and in a mini account it is $.95 so suppose 10 pips went up you would have just made $99.95 on a standard account and on a mini account $9.95.
On a mini account you have to have a initial deposit of $250 and on a standard account $2500
I use forex.com setup was easy and I was trading the same day
I personally am still learning and making money on the mini account and will be moving on to the standard account in about 4 months.

Porsche is expensive to maintain as is the mercedes and the hummer. You can buy a boxster for about $70,000 and you have a porsche. I like the porsche the one that looks like the batman car cant remeber the name. Why didnt you just get the escalade instead of the srx?
Nissan makes good cars and the altima doesnt look bad but I dont know I just love luxury cars as a kid I didnt really ride in any and now I always want to ride in luxury cars, you get my flow?

The c55 is nice car man You should also consider the s600 really really good car. If I were to get another mercedes I would buy the s600.

I don't drive a car, to be honest. I drive a taxi or the subway to wherever I need to go. I stuff all my money into my bank accounts. I keep planning on buying one, but deep down inside I'm saving up for a Ferrari :D

John14789 06-21-2008 05:27 PM

Buy a ferrari off of ebay seriously they got some pretty good deals. I just want about 7-10 luxury cars and im good :D
It depends if you live in a big city if you have to take a taxi or the subway. Looks like you in the NYC?

imjustme 06-21-2008 05:31 PM

I'm in Tokyo. Do you know how much import tax I pay for a Ferrari here? :D

Ah if you got the money gas prices are not really a problem but if you got limited money gas prices is a problem. If you earn atleast $20,000 a month I really dont think gas prices is a problem. Do you think Bill gates or donald trump care about gas prices?

I on the other hand care about gas prices because its eating up my hard earned money.

You have a point. Although even if you have that kind of capital, it still wouldn't be wise. Wow, 20k/m? Now that is some serious bank.

John14789 06-21-2008 06:02 PM

I used to make 12k in profit just from ebay man and those piece of crap people shut me down. But now thanks to Aspkin and all ya all Im gonna be getting back makin even more. If you want to make some cash aside from ebay try the forex but read and know what your doing before risking real money.

ebayhateluv 06-21-2008 07:03 PM

As u get older (and wiser)-- U realize that buying used/investing the difference is smarter..
I have a 6 -8 mpg vehicle--with 2 diesel gas tanks..
We also have a 6 cyl miniVan
+ 2- 4cyl cars..Im gonna get a hybrid next.

I can make no more than 5.5-6 % on my money safely-so if the pyts are more than that- its wiser to just pay cash.
(Ive got relatives than boast--"well-Ive got $60,000 in a money market acct")--I tell them , Yea-SO--youre earning what 4-5% on that, and you pay what 11-15% on your cc's each month?? Doesnt make sense--

Weve got a friend whos a lawyer-he gets a brand new car every year.
He leases.
No repairs. always has the latest Hot vehicle. So, for him, i guess it pays? He just traded the lexus small car with the broad front end--dont know what it was called--but it was a 2 seater--now he has the new caddillac, dvs or sts? cant remember..

GreenBean 06-21-2008 07:21 PM

My new X3 is on lease like that. When it has been on the road say 12-14 months it is upgraded to a new car. Bear in mind that it is on the road as a work car so it makes sense
to lease..

highwhey 06-21-2008 07:37 PM

I've been thinking of leasing as well. About 300-400$/m for a new BMW, that's about half what I pay for my truck, although I'm not leasing. It does make sense to me as well, I mean, the truck that I'm almost done paying off is getting older...at some point I'm going to consider a trade in.

GreenBean 06-21-2008 07:46 PM

If you can lease and have payments covered with tax write-offs, it works. As you say age
and mechanical repairs become a problem.

John14789 06-21-2008 09:11 PM

What I really want to do is get $65,000 and get that and put it in a cd and get interest on that monthly and then pay for my new escalade or 745i bmw. This is the smartest thing to do.
Leasing is a smart idea but to me its like renting a house you dont get anything out of it in the end.
Did you buy the hummer h1 used or new?
Is it yours because its a really nice suv :)

John14789 06-21-2008 09:12 PM

How do you get payments covered with tax write-offs I never heard of this before? Or is this showing loss for your business?

GreenBean 06-21-2008 09:28 PM

Live in Australia and have that benefit. ROFLOL.;)

John14789 06-21-2008 09:32 PM

Lucky you :)
