Default Canada Post tracking message help!? "Please call xxxxxxxx for assistance"

i ordered myself a designer belt from China, just 1! And i'm getting this message when I go to track it on the Canada post website: < Please call Customer Service at 1-866-607-6301 for assistance with this item. >

i Googled this message and i didn't see it being asosciated with a seized package or anything (they got a different message for that)

just wondering if any other Canadians here have got this message before or if you know what it could mean? lost/stolen/damaged?

yeah that's hopefully it. i ordered the exact same thing just a few weeks ago (too small of size) but it arrived perfectly fine for me

Man...lot of info missing.

When did you order it? Did seller use EMS? Input the tracking number on EMS first. Perhaps Canada Post doesnt have info yet because it is still on China side - EMS would have info.

Are there duties on it? I would think not.

i just called and was told that it's fine and that it's something to do with the tracking system and from what they can see, it's en route to Canada. i'm confused by that though because if it's still en route to Canada then how could they have its tracking number in their system?

yes it was shipped by EMS rsot. i ordered it last week and it was shipped on tuesday or wednesday. and hopefully there's no duty!

i think everything will be fine though but thank you both for trying to help

Canada will only have info once it's registered from the shipping source. Chinese sellers like to use agents, etc and THAT'S why you dont have info on it.

Takes time to register. All the best.
