Why is MLB even negotiating with doper Rod?
Ban his sorry butt, removed his name and numbers from the record books and the other 10-14 they are going to ban on Monday, can them for life.

The other players have ( mainly) stated they accept the 50 game ban and ask for forgiveness from family, team and fans.....

Wrong message to send to the kids.
It is ok to cheat as long as you let us know and apologize.
Shame on them.
BAN each and every one of them forever period. No questions asked.
Once they accepted the 50 game suspension they just said they were guilty.
Come back and ban them for life.
Now A Rod the doper wants to play while appealing when he admitted to using it.
Are you kidding me? Others took it like a man and moving on but not him.
The jerk believes he is better then anyone else and deserves different treatment then whines during a press conference I am being picked on.
Ban his sorry doping life forever, remove his name from all records as he is a cheater and put out the word.
