Totally agree. I watch every Giants game and contrary to the consensus, its not all Eli's fault. Yes, he does make some terrible throws at times (mostly because he's under pressure b/c his poor O-line can't block anyone).

But there are other factors also. There are too many examples of receivers running the wrong routes, RB's not picking up blitz's, stupid penalties that kill drives, etc.

It just seems like a lack of focus, something that is uncommon for a Tom Coughlin coached team.

As a long time Giant fan, we've had some great success since Eli took the helm.

There are some long time vets that are just getting older. If it takes a horrible year to recover from this to regroup, then I'll look forward to having a top 5 pick in next years draft. Worked out pretty well the last time that happened.

Pats just hot homered by a cheap call at the end of OV.

However, my Superbowl pick is officially the Chiefs. Put down a decent amount of money at 15/1 odds in Nevada last week. I like their defense, I like the don't turn the ball over QB play and the Special teams. Broncos I admit are still the team to beat in the AFC and the same Division the AFC West. I do think the different match-ups between the Chiefs/Broncos/Chargers are going to be interesting. Rivers and the Chargers in my opinion could be under the Raydar. They have lost a few games they should have won. But Rivers is finally looking like and elite QB again, they are playing solid football on both sides. I see them as a team that can possibly upset a few teams coming down the stretch. Even win a road WC game if they make the playoffs.

Seahawks at the Colts this week should tell us much about how good the Seahawks really are. They are dynamite at home, if they get home field throughout the NFC I don't think anyone can beat them. The question is can they win the games on the road, the squeaked them out vs the Texans and Panthers. Indy should be a good test. Also if Indy can play well and make a statement in this game. They very well could prove they belong in the conversation for top teams in the NFL.

Great thing I love about the NFL is how it changes from week to week. Even though every game is important it is a long season and is always interesting to see how things play out going through November into December.

Well you picked the Chiefs many weeks back and they are looking really good right now.

+1 for you!

Was quite the game but the Broncos fumbled the ball within 10 yards of the end zone...killer failure on top of an interception earlier on

They are finding ways to win. Very good start. Very happy for Alex Smith I am a big fan of his. As well as nice to see Andy Reid after all the criticism he took in Philly, losing a son and everything else he has been through the past few years. Still going to be a tough road for KC to win the Division over the Broncos. Hopefully those make for some good games down the stretch.

Colts look very good as well. Beating the Seahawks, 49ers and now the Broncos. I would put them as legit contender. As well as San Diego is also a real wild card for me. One week they look awesome and Phillip Rivers looks phenomenal then the next week they get the butt kicked by the Raiders. Real Jekyll and Hide team but definitely a team to watch out for.

Thus far Bengals look to me like the surprise team in the NFL.

Chiefs are 8-0 but I do not think they can go all the way.

Bengals have the talent if they can stay away from injuries to beat anyone.

Very surprised with Cincy so far.

Never doubt Alex Smith. Bengals look good this week. But NFL is so week to week you never know. They looked shaky earlier in the season. Seems like Usually around Thanksgiving you get a good idea of how teams are going.

Personally I think the San Diego Chargers are the biggest Wild Card in the NFL. Philip Rivers has played like the best QB in football at times. They beat the Colts who beat the 49ers and Seahawks regarded as top 2-3 teams in NFC. Then stunk it up vs the Raiders.

You just never know how it plays out. In the AFC the Colts look very good. Broncos look solid. I don't think they are going to blow everyone out like many assumed the first few weeks. But it is going to be interesting to see how things develop. That NFC East race could be very tight. 7-9 win team could get the division. Costing a 10 or 11 win team a playoff spot like the Pats with Cassell when they won 11 games and missed the playoffs. Crazy.

Yea, I always looked at 10 win season as usually being in the playoffs. With teams like the Jaguars who probably won't win a game. Then compounded by the NFC East, there could be a few teams that win 10+ games that miss the playoffs. We will see how it plays out.

Personally, I do think if you don't at least finish over .500 that playoff spot should be fortified. Remember the Chargers under Turner going 8-8 and I think the SeaHawks as well when then Lynch got that big run vs the Saints at home in that game. Just my opinion. I know strength of schedule and what not is important in the NFL. But if you can't finish over .500 come on.

Chiefs are nice at 8-0, but alot of that has to due w/ their strength of schedule. Remember, they're playing a last place schedule.

Yes, they have a nice D and Alex Smith is a solid QB, but let's keep in mind that they keep playing against teams who are starting their backup QBs.

Beat Titan's Ryan Fitzpatrick (backup to Jake Locker)
Beat Houston's Casey Keenum (backup to Shaub)
Beat Brown's Jason Campbell (backup to Weeden, who is the backup for Hoyer!)

Bengals just took the lead with 1:00 to go.

Then allowed Miami to score a FG with 0:11 to go.

Crazy.

And the Bengals lose on a silly safety.
