Bears were recently in the Superbowl in '07 (Peyton's only SB victory). So this makes Sandy 20 y/o! I knew it! :p

Where you get that 27 point RSOT? Man, I missed that chance

I missed that one, I was hibernating like a bear. :}

The one I remember was in the mid 80s.

I said they have not had a good team since I was a kid. I was technically correct.

This is the year Manning asked his teammates to share a ring with Edgeran James who left for Arizona after carrying them for many years with no winners.

It was hyped up by all the sports betting lines Tony...biggest point spread ever (tied with '76 Steelers game...forget against whom...think Steelers covered too)

Hubby is watching SD beating the Colts.

He says the league has become very competitive this year and only a few teams really standing out above the rest.

Colts were really being stopped up last night

Pats are very surprising with all the injuries and the loss of Hernandez and Welker.

True Sandy and they killed the Saints perfect record - last minute TD play

When it comes down to making things happen and smart football you wont find any better then the Pats have been over the years.

They find a way to win because of their football knowledge as well as having some talented QB named Brady.

With all those injuries and lost players no one could have thought they would be doing so well.

Gronkowski still injured - lot of fantasy leagues suffering with his absence

I dont think anyone would have him or them as part of their fantasy team knowing before the season start he would be ok for a while, Welker leaving and Hernandez going to jail.

We all know with that coach and that QB they will always be contenders but with this many injuries and loss of teammates only a lucky person could have guessed they would do this well at this point.

Welker is delivering the yards that's for sure.

Pats may have beaten the Saints, but they are sure in alot of pain. Their injury list is piling up early w/ some top profile guys...

Jerod Mayo - out for season
Aqib Talib - hip injury
Danny Amendola - concussion
Gronkowski - doesn't trust team doctors!

And not to mention...
Vince Wilfork - out for season
Shane Vereen - might be back week 10

No way they can survive the long haul with several of these players.
They can win for sure but once they get to the playoffs they would need these players I think to move on deep.

As much as like Tom Coughlin and his old school approach. If they can't beat newbie Freeman and the lackluster Vikings. Time for a change. How does a team that won two Superbowls in the past 6 years get so bad? Even if it isn't the head coaches fault. It is time for a change.

Time for a change indeed - am not a huge follower of them but still...it does give some drama for sucking big time

Re: NFL Season 2013 has begun

For the Vikings to go for Freeman tells me they are one sorry organization.

He was a total pita here in Florida and did not comply with any rules and shows signs of getting better then dropped like a rock.

LOL Then again I was able to grab a rack of his jerseys for 4.99 and selling them on ebay for 20 to 35.00 each depending on the bids. Marked down here because people were sick of his antics and his playing but collectors must still like him. That signing made me some money. :humble:

Giants seem to have a bunch of players who are not giving it all they got.
