I wont drive a Ford and have had Chrysler vans that were nice.
Ford Focus has to be the new ugly car of the century. They won it last century with the Pinto and so far winning it for this one.
Ford Expedition is ugly and drives like a 4 wheeler with bad wheels. |

Re: What Car You Driving??? Way back in 2008 had a Lambo that was year old - bought it from the States for low price due to guy needing cash badly...enjoyed driving it and might own one again in the future but sold it for a profit (some dude made an offer that was too good to say no to).
Problem was maintenance and high cost of insurance and the like - didnt want to keep it going |
| GreenBean | 10-02-2013 08:06 AM | Re: What Car You Driving??? Bit of a downgrade from Lambos to hamsters then.

Dodge ram or similar would be nice, used to have a Mitsubishi warrior and really miss having a big 4x4.. |
| An0nym0u$ | 10-02-2013 11:59 AM | Re: What Car You Driving??? My ride does exactly what I need it for...my 2001 Camry gets me from point A to point B. I don't need to rev my engines at the red light to impress anyone, because my engine might stall on me.
And if my check engine light comes on...all I need to do is pull out my handy OBDII scanner and clear that sucker. It's all about masking the problem and waiting for it to give out! |
| Geegee83 | 10-02-2013 04:08 PM | Re: What Car You Driving??? You can get some awesome old muscle cars in America, I'd love one! Old English cars suck in comparison lol. |
| Ebayorbust | 10-02-2013 04:29 PM | Re: What Car You Driving??? I'm driving some crappy Dodge SUV hire car here in Florida. The fuel consumption is a joke but it's still way cheaper to drive against anything in the UK due to comparitive fuel prices. |

Re: What Car You Driving??? 7-8k quid...insurance?!? |
| tmastermind | 10-03-2013 09:31 AM | Re: What Car You Driving??? Young driver insurance in the UK is absolutely ridiculous! A downright scam really! I hear most kids even after searching and getting a cheap enough car with cheap insurance group are still on average paying £2k a year.... often the car is worth half that at tops.
I'm paying £500 on my Jag and I think that's expensive! |
Re: What Car You Driving??? Is insurance in UK also related to what area you are registered in? I mean address-wise...rural vs suburbia? |

Mine is £250 full comprehensive nowadays, but when I was 17 I once paid £1500 for insurance on a motorbike, nightmare! |

There are differences for urban and suburban rates.
In Australia, we even get a discount if the vehicle is garaged...
We also get no-claim bonus for safe driving. |

When I reach 10 homes I think I'll let the 11th be a nice car... :) |
