| Sandy D | 04-20-2014 10:27 PM | Re: NBA Followers & other Ball sports (NCAA too) Brooklyn is a major sleeper and could beat anyone on a given night so be careful what you wish for.
Team chemistry is a mess but they are loaded with experienced players. |

West could be interesting.
Still thinking it is going to hard to beat the Spurs.
Stay with my prediction of a repeat Heat v Spurs.
Spurs might run out of gas but really dont see any West teams beating them in a series.
But then again west is full of young teams who could wear down the Spurs.
?? |
Re: NBA Followers & other Ball sports (NCAA too) Three-peat for the Heat? |
| Sandy D | 04-21-2014 10:27 PM | Re: NBA Followers & other Ball sports (NCAA too) Heat will come out of the east I think easily.
Spurs looking good.
West has the better overall teams by far. |
| vogeltron | 04-21-2014 10:51 PM | Re: NBA Followers & other Ball sports (NCAA too) Grizzlies make things interesting by beating the Thunder.
Good series developing in the West. |
Re: NBA Followers & other Ball sports (NCAA too) Grizzlies are making the challenge exciting...Thunder have been spooked |

The guy has to be 90 years old right? |
Re: NBA Followers & other Ball sports (NCAA too) He is mad crazy - remember back in the Raptor days |
| Sandy D | 04-24-2014 08:31 AM | Re: NBA Followers & other Ball sports (NCAA too) Younger teams are showing they can play with speed and running the entire game long. |
| Sandy D | 04-25-2014 01:02 AM | Re: NBA Followers & other Ball sports (NCAA too) New issue.
Durant is struggling and the OKC team might lose the playoffs.
So should Lebron get the MVP?
I think the MVP should not be given out until after the NBA finals myself. |
Re: NBA Followers & other Ball sports (NCAA too) OKC is looking like an early exit.
I agree on MVP rights being declared AFTER the playoffs are all done |

| vogeltron | 04-26-2014 04:28 AM | Re: NBA Followers & other Ball sports (NCAA too) Rockets get a road win. Make it a series again. These Western Conference Playoffs are unreal. Does not matter what seed 1 through 8 these are the most evenly matched series I have ever seen. Best 1st round I can remember.
Few interesting series in the East as well. Bulls vs Wizards and the Pacers chocking vs the Hawks thus far. Interesting. |
Re: NBA Followers & other Ball sports (NCAA too) Last night Toronto's push was good at the end but not enough...and few last minute mistakes worked against them |
| Sandy D | 04-26-2014 11:49 AM | Re: NBA Followers & other Ball sports (NCAA too) Pacers have fallen completely apart.
I said 2 months ago they need a big man, Hibbert is not a true big man.
And now Hibbert has been the crutch for them. |
Re: NBA Followers & other Ball sports (NCAA too) Was watching Vince Carter "Vinsanity" hah - he has taken it up a notch |

Anyways, today is another must win game for the Toronto Raptors
Also you guys hear about Donald Sterling's comment. Very sad in my opinion. Totally messed up. Hope the NBA does not allow him to be an owner. |

Guy obviously made some bad comments and has some prejudice. But blatant racist, that would be hard to argue. |

I am reading they are asking him to step down as owner.
Why? His comments if he did state them are wrong but come on, people make racist comments on all sides and even to each other and dont get penalized like giving up something he owns and has ran pretty darn well in hiring minorities. |

One of the marquee players for the past 10 years was accused of Raping a woman in Colorado. Another player brought firearms into the locker room. All these players are had second chances in the NBA.
I disagree very much with the comments. But the idea that this guy needs to sell his team or step down is a bit premature. Also I find it Ironic that Magic Johnson is claiming to be the moral authority when he cheated on his wife countless times contracted the HIV Virus and put his whole family in danger. Really someone to take advice from. |

Personally, I don't support Adultery, Rape or Violence. But if you would rather allow those people to be forgiven and come back than you are a better person than me.
Words as idiotic as they may be are that. Words. I was always taught actions speak much louder.
If you want support the scum of the earth. You like Mr. Sterling are entitled to your opinion. |

"EDITED" to bite my tongue.
Racism is not a one way street like some make it out to be.
Racism works all directions.
Rappers can rap racist comments and no one says a word.
A rich successful man has an opinion and everyone wants to take him down.
Amazing.
Magic Johnson and World Peace are two idiots who need to shut up and sit down. Both are idiots and both have done far worse then someones comments and yet speak out about Sterlings comments.
Cheating on your wife and attacking an innocent fan is far worse then someones words. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 07:49 PM. | |
