That was a few nights ago. Mavericks lost last night. Ellis missed a close contested shot with like 10 seconds left.

Pacers and Bull both just fell apart.

OKC is a player short of going anywhere.

Bulls lost tonight. Guess defense dont win games like ESPN analyst said the Bulls will be scary because they have the best defense in the league.

Very good playoffs, glad to see some parity going on.

OKC & Memphis has been such a good series. 4 Overtime games in a row. Not to mention tonight's finish where they reviewed the the put back at the buzzer. Crazy

You said a week or two back these will be some good playoff games and they have.

Rockets with the Win. Another Western Conference series getting more interesting.

Almost a meltdown in Toronto vs Brooklyn last night - 22 point lead obliteration wow...but Raptors still won - clutch shooting

Rockets have a very good team if they play together and the whiney gutted Howard would step up and play and stop whining all of the time.

The most dominant player in the league other then LJ is Howard but he has become a Jabbar type player just walking up and down the floor and crying when he does not get the ball.

Looks like three game 7's so far. Great start to the Playoffs and more good games scheduled on Friday.

Tonight's games should be interesting. If Portland can't handle business at home it would be tough going back to Houston for a Game 7. Especially when they had a 3-1 lead. Dallas I expect to put in a good fight tonight at home but I still think the Spurs will win the series.

The Raptors, Nets is interesting. Raptors have a nice young team. Can the put the hammer on the Nets and close em out. Hard to say.

These are by far the best first round of the playoffs I can ever remember. So many of the series are close and the teams really evenly matched.

its really sad about the heats vs bobcats. now they will get to rest for like a week and he rested. that series is the worst of all of this years playoffs games. I don't think it will get any better than the first round that are going on so far

Time for Toronto to end the Nets tonight!

Re: NBA Followers & other Ball sports (NCAA too)

Bad loss for Toronto; being a young team home court is very important.

I can't believe the end of the of the Blazers and Rockets game. Lillard made a great shot. I just can;t believe you had Parsons even in the game at that time. Lets face it, always the slow white Guard chasing the fast black guard on the inbound that kills you. Lots of other things that could have gone wrong. Just can't believe they didn't Harden on Lilliard and Parson on Mo Williams if you left him in at all.

Mavs beat the Spurs as well. 5 game 7's is awesome. Should have been six if not for poor coaching match ups and an unreal shot have to give Lillard Credit. If they lost game 6 being up 3-1 and had to go back to Houston would have been rough.

Saturday and Sunday games are going to be awesome.

Re: NBA Followers & other Ball sports (NCAA too)

That Toronto game was rough - there was a point in the 4th where the lead was down to 10 by the Nets but Toronto missed some key shots.

I didnt follow the Heat and Bobcats series because I figured it would just be business as usual hah

Way too many turnovers for my Warriors. I except Mark Jackson to be fired somewhere in the next few days. Will be interesting to see who they try to find as head coach.

Dantoni?

Would be a good coach for them.

Toronto vs Nets game 7 was close at the end - Raptors almost did it...10 point lead came back ....but that last drive there was clearly a hand foul by the Nets that was called - what a huge letdown

I doubt they will go with another one of these high paced offensive coaches. I wouldn't be surprised if it somebody that hasn't been an NBA head coach before.

I like how the Blazers are playing right now on the Western side. I did not realize how good Aldridge is. Only saw bits of any Blazers games this year. For a big man he is clutch making his free throws also.

I am sure that Western Conference series will continue brawls all the way to the finals.

Toronto (actually all of Canada) and NY are big markets. Even though I agree it was not as good many of the other ones. It rating were probably padded by the size of the fan bases.

Not much else in terms of basketball for all of Canada to follow (if they want to believe in the North :FF: )

You called this one.

Two years ago they were 20 game under 500, now 20+ above.

How could you fire a coach that turned it around?

He didn't get along with the Management. When they hired him too it was risky because he doesn't know the X's and O's of basketball like most NBA head coaches that were assistants for many years not TV Announcers.

Guy was a great motivational coach. But many people who follow basketball closely feel as though they won somewhat despite Mark Jackson.

There were issues with firing assistants and not going through the proper channels. Also, it was reported the Jackson locked Jerry West out of practices.

I am hearing Stan Van Gundy and Steve Kerr as top candidates they want. Personally I always really liked Lionel Hollins. Will be interesting to see what they do. I am 100% sure it won't be Mike D'Antoni. Tom Thibodeau might be on his way out of Chicago as well. So it is hard to say.
