If your referencing that win that the Jags had against the Ravens yeah it was wonky...That catch Marvin Jones Jr. made right at the end of the game may not have been a touchdown. He got one toe down and his other foot and leg was way up in the air with his entire body along with the ball all hanging out of bounds...lol

When he went down he only got that one leg down but might not haven been all the way in where it would count as a catch and even so I still think it's humorous it was called a catch when the ball was shifting around to much as he hit the ground out of bounds. It didn't even look like he had possession of the ball from when he made contact with it and went down.

That game the other day where the Vikings mounted the biggest comeback ever in NFL history against the Colts being down 33 to 0 and with 8:30 left on the clock in the 3rd Quarter where the Vikings later came back and WON was really something to see.

Matt Ryan is now a part of the losing end of the biggest comebacks ever in the Super Bowl and now a regular season game. No Saturday or Sunday game will ever be a sadder day for that man.

The Chiefs winning yesterday against the Texans clinched the divisional title for 7 years in a row now and that has only been done by 3 teams so far the other 2 were the Rams and Patriots.

Mmmmmhmmmmm

Patrick Mahomes is not only playing on a good vibe but way better then most have expected.

Mahomes has obliterated league records now for any quarterback within there first 75 games as a starter, know one has matched him and he is MaHOME ALONE!

The fact that he is the fastest player ever to 20,000 passing yards doing it within 67 games when he only played 1 game his rookie year and also was injured and missed games in 2019 is SHOCKING.

With Mahomes being a starting quarterback for five seasons he's now topped 5,000 yards and at least 40 touchdowns in two of them the only other player to have ever done that having multiple 5,000 yard and 40 plus touchdown seasons was Drew Brees and it took him twelve seasons to do that and only accomplishing that twice in his entire career.

With KC defeating Denver yesterday makes it 15 consecutive times in a row that the Chiefs have beaten the Broncos.

That was tragic and so sad to see, I am stunned though that they cancelled the game and didn't come back to finish it.

It's unfair to the Chiefs and also to the Bills because now if they meet in the Playoffs they will have to play at a neutral field. The NFL really botched that by ruling and canceling it without replaying that Bills and Bengals game where they left off. It is really puzzling that they did that because there has been players in the past that were paralyzed during the game without the game getting cancelled and the player that was carted on a stretcher off the field could never walk right ever again let alone be able to play again.

I'm still laughing at how the Packers started the year upside down and played it awful with over two thirds of it over then being able to heat up and winning giving them one last chance to win there last game of season all they had to do was win and they were in the Playoffs and couldn't get it done at Lambeau against the Lions.

That Charger and Jaguar game the other day was something that doesn't happen often, The Chargers had them and then blew a 27 point lead. After Trevor Lawrence bounced back from throwing four interceptions in the first half he later lead his team to the third largest comeback in NFL Playoff history.

Re: NFL/NCAA Football Talk - 2014-15 Season

You can learn a lot about a team when there season is on the line and there without there MVP quarterback.....

Playoff Chad does it again against the Jaguars just like he did against the Browns 2 years ago because Henne thing is possible.

Chiefs defeated the Jaguars just like they did against the Browns when the best player in all of football statistically speaking through 5 seasons was on the sidelines.

When Mahomes was on the sideline throwing things and a tantrum for not letting him come back in and play Andy Reid finally gave in and put him back in the game, That was so dangerous playing him hurt like that. Even on one leg Patrick Mahomes would not be denied with him hobbling around and still being able to WIN.

I don't know of any other player who was ever able to play on one leg and hurt like that except Terrell Owens in Super Bowl 39

If Mahomes wanted to retire early like Andrew Luck did he would probably still get inducted into the HOF given how no one has matched his stats within there first 5 seasons as a starter and being able to get to the AFC Championship Conference game 5 straight times now from when first being able to start a season as a starter.

Solid facts. I'm hoping 49ers can pull through Eagles on the other hand

I'm wanting to see another 49ers and Chiefs showdown because when they played in Super Bowl 54 it was such a great game.

It was rumored that Garoppolo might be playing later today but it appears that he is still injured, Even if he was healthy it would be foolish to start him over the red hot Brock Purdy in fact that man has been playing lights out and hasn't even lost a game yet, I would not bench him. If he meets the Chiefs in the Super Bowl I almost certainly wouldn't bench him because when Garoppolo squared off against the Chiefs earlier this season the 49ers got stomped 44 to 23.

Mahomes proved that he is better on one leg than most QB's are completely healthy, I sure hope he isn't still injured when he plays later today because I'm not sure if he can beat the Bengals like he did the Jags not being 100%. His 1 legged stats were 12 of 18 for 118 yards with a touchdown.

The Chiefs prevailed without JuJu Smith-Schuster, Mecole Hardman, Kadarius Toney, Justin Watson, and Mahomes still being hurt limping around.

I was laughing when the Chiefs had to substitute that many wide receivers in that game that were special team players that I never heard of the only wideout that was known was Marquez Valdes-Scantling who definitely stepped his game way up when the Chiefs needed it the most, Willie Gay and L'jarius Sneed also went down and were both out in that game.

The Battered and Broken Kansas City Chiefs still got it done by defeating Cincy.

That's now 3 Super Bowls the Chiefs have been to in the past 4 Years !!!

Yeah the 49ers ran out of QB's I just hate how Brock Purdy got hurt in that game he got injured early and went 2/2 after that happened I knew the Eagles had it easy by having to face a fourth string Quarterback, I sure wish Purdy wouldn't have gotten hurt it would have been a great game to watch. Even with Garoppolo or Lance it would have been interesting.

Yeah that penalty near the end sealed the game, It was the right call and a dirty hit to nail the opposing QB when he is clearly out of bounds and already playing hurt. Butker still might have been able to make it if they didn't have that penalty only saying that because he made one from 62 yards against the Bills earlier in the Season.

I'm not sure either if the Chiefs will be able to defeat the Eagles if they are not able to get everyone back and healthy that was the problem when they faced the Bucs in Super Bowl 55 was injuries.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire looks like he will finally be coming back tomorrow but he only had a hot rookie year and hasn't even been average since then and being a bust given where he was drafted and projected, Isiah Pacheco though has been a marvelous replacement and I hope he can keep his rhythm.

exactly my thinking - going to be a tough one - eagles are strong especially with the defense

I haven't been on Aspkin in a while but I'm happy and thrilled beyond belief that the Chiefs clinched their eighth consecutive AFC West crown..I really made Bank this year and far more than what the average college graduate makes just from Sportsbook betting alone.

Mahomes has had a good year and if it wasn't for almost 50 dropped passes in the 2023 season which was more than any other 1 team in 1 season has ever had from so many WR's who are paid millions, Mahomes would have been playing lights out and hitting better accolades which he already has anyway even with a bad receiving core he still was able to hit milestones that no QB has ever done.

They obviously need to clean house and get rid of all of them except for of course Rashee Rice.

With the Wildcard Weekend Playoff's getting underway later today. It's going to be one of the coldest games ever at Arrowhead..Good luck to the Dolphins I think they are going to need it.

Sportsbook wins eh? Very cool if working out awesomely for you - just on football?

Dolphins were dominated....Browns was a bad flop with back to back pick 6s....and with their defence? rough

My Sportsbook wins were on football and baseball mostly. I love betting long shots and futures and can be very analytical, 2023 worked out marvelously for me, In fact I am absolutely smitten with what I made given how I mostly bet for entertainment but really made stacks.

I'll upload pics of my bets rsot but many weeks after I cashed the tickets out on them.

In that Wildcard weekend it was the fourth coldest game in NFL history and the coldest game ever at Arrowhead. I'm not surprised that the Chiefs cruised by the Dolphins like they did because no Dolphin would do very well in negative -4 degree weather, I'm glad that Tyreek Hill's new team now has been a floor mat in the Playoffs for the last 2 years now because he has seemed kinda childish with things.

You know there really was quite a few blowouts in that wildcard weekend with 5 of them and surprisingly 3 of them were the underdogs that won those blowouts.

Re: NFL/NCAA Football Talk - 2014-15 Season

I haven't had much time to post on even online forums and haven't been on much lately but the divisional playoff round that also just recently happened were great games to see.

Mahomes from just defeating the Bills the other day has been to 6 straight AFC Championship games in a row now in his first 6 starts as a starter.

His records in his playoff career so far are stunning having a 13-3 record, 4,561 yards, 38 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions.

Mahomes already has more accolades than most quarterbacks can ever hope to earn, with two Super Bowl wins and two MVP's under his belt, and now with his recent win over the Bills he has been placed within the top 10 all-time at the position despite still being just 28.

Even if the Chiefs get eliminated tomorrow against Baltimore and miss the Super Bowl they still had an amazing year given how the receiving core really was.

The Lions and 49ers, I would be happy with either team winning that game. The Lions made there own history up there this year with it being the first time for them to ever host 2 playoff games at home within the same season.

If they win tomorrow it will be the first ever Super Bowl for the Lions and when they won against the Bucs just recently the cheapest ticket was $1,186.00 for in the nosebleed section and the highest they have ever been there at Ford Field.

I would like the 49ers to get back to the Super Bowl though as a thank you to how well they played out this year for me and also when the Chiefs and 49ers met in Super Bowl 54 it was a great game and would love to see that rematch because of how great that game was.

Brock Purdy didn't look all that accurate against the Packers but he still had a great game because he didn't turn the ball over any with as close as that game was and he got the WIN!

Re: NFL/NCAA Football Talk - 2014-15 Season

49ers should win vs Lions - it'll be interesting to see if Deebo is really injured or not. 49ers were a little loose vs Packers and barely go the win.

That Bills lose was a huge blow :( almost ko'ed the Chiefs.

Ravens vs Chiefs is going to be something...

Super bowl is set - I think if 49ers can play more like their season-selves they can beat KC - If they play like the past 2 games...a bit loose...it's going to be rough on them

secret storm 02-10-2024 06:36 PM

Re: NFL/NCAA Football Talk - 2014-15 Season

Patrick Mahomes now is the only QB to have ever went to 4 Super Bowls from just being 28 years old.

I hope they can win later on tomorrow against the 49ers but they are playing against a team that is stacked and loaded with talent. Mahomes is going to have to use his legs and have time in the pocket if they are going to win along with WR's not dropping any passes like they did all year long.

If they can win they would join the club of the few elite teams to have ever won back to back championships with winning two consecutive Super Bowls in a row.

I haven't been on in ages but, Mahomes has already etched his name in the pillars of history and has now done what only has been done 7 other times that have won back to back Super Bowl championships he also won 3 Super Bowls in the past 5 years and he is still in his 20's.

Everyone is talking about the Chiefs winning 3 in a row now and having a THREE - PEAT, They might be able to because they needed a bunch of help and improvement partially with there wide receiving core and was still able to win it all last year.

The 2024 NFL Season is about to be underway today, The Chiefs schedule other than playing within there AFC West division looks challenging.

The NFL now sets the games based on the teams record of the previous year.
