Patrick Mahomes is playing as the greatest quarterback of all time not only has he shattered records for first starting season in someone's career stats but also from all quarterbacks that have ever played the game in their first 2 and 3 games of any season.

Having 10 TD's in the first two games and now 13 TD's in the first three. He has a quick release that can be fastballs.

I can't wait to see what he does to the Broncos later tonight.

Patrick Mahomes might not look like the greatest quarterback of all time in the making to some but he is probably the best that is actively playing based off this season he's had.

It's been phenomenal Patrick Mahomes has tied Peyton Manning's all time record of at least 26+ points or more for every game in a regular season and finished the 2018 season with the third all time highest combined points scored by a team in a single season totaling 565 points.

Mahomes has received the nickname ''Showtime'' because he can score points like a Basketball team in some games.

I don't think anyone thought he would be as good as he has besides me when I saw him throwing accurate passes deep down field off the wrong foot and sideways under his shoulder and even passes he's not even looking to get defensive backs off guard when he was playing for Texas Tech.

I knew when the Chiefs had drafted him he was going to be a star.

I flew to Vegas and placed this bet on him knowing my chances of winning would be good having big odds.

https://i.postimg.cc/5NJD7CT1/20110091311311711.jpg

https://i.postimg.cc/5NJD7CT1/20110091311311711.jpg

I also wagered the same amount on the same bet taking the Pats 9/1, Rams 10/1 and the Saints 14/1.

I've already picked perfection this being my first time with future bets from Vegas I don't want the Chiefs to win the Superbowl because I stand to win the most money I want the Chiefs to win because Kansas City born and raised Chiefs Fan for the Rest of my Days and I'm already loaded this is pocket change.

I can't believe the Eagles were able to hold Drew Brees to just 10 points into 43 minutes of play that game was way to close.

Last time Brady faced the Chiefs Eric Berry and Justin Houston were both out from Injury's I can't wait to see how he play's now with 2 defense pro bowlers in the game at Arrowhead.

Injury's have cost the Chiefs this year to say the least all of there games that they lost they were so close with key players out.

Kareem Hunt was number 1 in rushing in 2017 and might have cost himself literally tens of millions he was going to make. It's possible he won't ever get to play again like Ray Rice what an idiot.

I wish that the Chiefs and Rams would have played in the Superbowl last year because when the Pats and Rams played it was so boring and was rated as one of the worst Superbowl's of all time.

I definitely remember when the Chiefs and Rams played on Monday night last year. It was the very first time that each team scored over 50 points in 1 game and the highest scoring game on a Monday Night and the 3rd highest scoring game of all time with it ending 54 to 51.

I'm so glad that the Chiefs made the Super Bowl this year it is much deserved. Patrick Mahomes didn't have the year he had last year statistically speaking but still made the Super Bowl!

The Chiefs could have a dynasty under Mahomes he is the Commander and Chief.

I can't wait to see him square off later today against a good 49er team.

I haven't been on Aspkin since the Superbowl but I'm still enjoying and still savoring that game like it happened last night.

Wooooohoooooooooo

That was one of the highest rated SuperBowl's off all time.

The 49ers got way to arrogant near the end of the game celebrating on the sidelines with about 7 minutes left in the game like they had won being up by 10 points having a two possession lead even the GM John Lynch made an appearance and was smiling like it was over and that's how they are down there in San Francisco way to arrogant and way to over confident.

I just loved how it Ended and against SF it's definitely revenge for the 2014 World Series how San Francisco had to use 1 Pitcher so much to beat like one of the lowest salary teams in all of Baseball. Bumgarner is now 19 Wins and 28 Loses now so far in the past 4 Seasons. I'm sure he will never be what he was and be a has been for the rest of his career when he is 30. The Giants were smart to not resign him and that's what happens when you over use a pitcher like that. I can't believe he is making 15 to 17 Million a year with as bad as he is if he could pitch like he used to 5 years ago he would be making 25 to 30 Million a year being in that elite class of pitching.

I did wager and bet $1,000 again in Vegas for the Chiefs to win the Superbowl in 2019 but the odds were only 6/1 but when Mahomes was injuried and out for 2 games in the 2019 Season I should have bet another $1,000 because the odds jumped up to 15/1.

Re: NFL/NCAA Football Talk - 2014-15 Season

https://www.si.com/nfl/chiefs/news/b...as-city-chiefs

Patrick Mahomes signed a 10-Year, $503 Million ($477 million Guaranteed) Contract Extension with Kansas City Chiefs.

That is the largest and richest contract in the history of sports excluding endorsement money of course.

I knew he was going to get big money but I didn't think he would get way more than anyone who has ever played in the NFL especially with only playing 2 seasons so far as a starter.

That is far more than Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Drew Bree's ever received in there prime and those 3 Quarterbacks are in the top 5 QB's of all time.

I hate to say this being a die hard Chiefs fan but that is so much money. The Chiefs are not going to be able to retain everyone that is good let alone sign additional star players.

Football is obviously not a 1 man sport like it is with Golf, Boxing, Basketball, and even Baseball.

It will be very interesting to see what happens. I remember the Chiefs trading the Farm to get Matt Cassel after 1 good year up in New England and he was bat**** awful in KC and then Alex Smith played very well here and went to play for the Skins and before his injury he was 6-4 and only just average.

I also remember the Chiefs Signing Larry Johnson for almost 50 Million Contract Extension way back in 2007 after he rushed for over 3,500 yards within 2 seasons being in an elite class of only 6 other RB's in the history of the NFL being able to do that and afterwards after signing a RB to what was big money way back then he went soft and a complete bust.

The NFL preseason for 2020 was cancelled and wouldn't doubt if the actual 2020 Season gets cancelled also I sure hope it doesn't but more than likely will. The short 60 Game MLB Season was just barley hanging on by a thread when the Marlins had to postpone 8 Games and also the Cardinals had to postpone 19 games themselves. Now I read where more games are about to be cancelled and baseball isn't a contact sport.

It's to bad I really wanted to see Mahomes play this year and I hope it happens I think everyone wants to see if he can keep scoring points like a basketball team in some of his games. Mahomes has never lost a game by more than 1 Score as an NFL Starter playing in 36 Starts so far and he is the only QB to win league MVP & Super Bowl before turning 25 years old.

I actually saw Patrick Mahomes dancing at a night club from a distance here in Kansas City earlier this year. I wouldn't be at public places like that in times like this being a famous half a billionaire.

They don't call Mahomes ''Magic Man'' for nothing he can do what really no one else in the World can. Mahomes is a true Magician.

As I said last post I sure hope the Chiefs are able to keep all the Weapons around Mahomes with paying him way more than anyone else who has ever played in any professional sport with that Contract. Mahomes Career and Postseason record is 28-8 and his 8 losses were close games with not losing by anymore than a 1 score deficient. I remember when Mark Sanchez almost did what Mahomes did in his first two seasons as a starter with the Jets not statistically speaking but seasonal success making it to two AFC Championship Conference games in a row because he had 4 Pro Bowlers on that offensive line blocking for him but when they couldn't retain everyone he was just average and then a bust even with Mark Sanchez playing for 3 different teams afterwards and not able to do anything. I'm glad the Chiefs also extended Travis Kelce for 5 Years 46 Million also it is much deserved as Kelce has recorded four consecutive seasons with over 1,000 receiving yards and the first and only tight end to ever do that.

Yeah Tom Brady wants to prove that he is still the best and can win Championships even playing on a different team like Peyton Manning did it will be interesting to see what he does this year. He has one of the best wide receiver cores playing down there in Tampa Bay. Tom Brady started training with his new team in April of this year before any mandatory training even started.

The Chiefs are a far superior team than the Texans and way better than almost all NFL Teams.

Especially seeing how they just defeated a good 11-5 playoff team without Patrick Mahomes, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, and Sammy Watkins. That's there star starting Quarterback, star starting Running back, and a good starting Wide receiver who were all...OUT and they still won.

Also Arrowhead can hold over 80,000 plus and is one of the loudest stadiums in the World, According to the Genesis Book of World Records which is quite impressive considering that stadium has a bowl top where some of the noise seeps out. It's still so unbearably loud you can't even hear the person sitting right beside you. That rip roaring noise makes it impractical to do any play calling or audibles for the opposing quarterback facing the Chiefs defense in high pressure games like that and because of COVID there was almost no one at Arrowhead stadium a fraction of what a sellout would have been and Baker Mayfield wouldn't have been quite as good with his playbook and reading the defense to say the least.

After that win against the Browns that is now the third consecutive season that the Kansas City Chiefs will host the AFC Championship title game, a historic feat in the AFC conference. Since the 1970 merger, when conference championship games first were played, no team has ever played host to the AFC Championship Game in three consecutive seasons in a row.

Yeah the Browns could have had the Chiefs in that game with the Chiefs so crippled offensively and no crowd noise in the stands for interference.

Thankfully Chad Henne didn't have a bad game and they won because

Henne thing is possible

You notice when Mahomes and Edwards-Helaire were back they cruised right by Buffalo and right into the Super Bowl !

Mahomes is now the youngest QB to ever be in two Super Bowls being just 25 years old.

This is going to be a game I'm going to enjoy win or lose and a match between Legends the Brady/Mahomes Bowl

It's the very first time in Super Bowl history that the past two championship quarterbacks from the two previous Super Bowls in the past 2 years are facing each other in the Super Bowl.

Also the Bucs are the very first NFL team to play the Championship game in their home stadium in the Super Bowl which is kinda unfair they now have a homefield advantage.

The Chiefs didn't have Michael Schwartz, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, or the number one pick overall in the 2013 NFL Draft Eric Fisher. That's 3 good offensive starting linemen that were all OUT in the Super Bowl no QB could do much with missing over half of the offensive line gone.

When the Chiefs played the Buccaneers in Week 12 with those 3 lineman able to play and not injured they won and beat the Buccaneers 27 to 24 in Tampa Bay.

I definitely agree Danshan Brady is the Legend of Legends as of now he has more rings now then even Jordan does.

The real kicker is that Brady has restructured his contract to play many more years and saved team cap space he wants to have his name in every record book. Along with making Championship Bay with Tampa Brady.

Don't forget about Mahomes he actually does have a shot to eclipse Brady in some of his stats and already has considering Mahomes is still the youngest player to win NFL MVP and Super Bowl MVP while having the most passing yards (14,152), passing touchdowns (114), highest passer rating (108.7) and fewest interceptions (24) through a player’s first 46 starts.

Since becoming the Kansas City Chiefs starting quarterback in 2018, Mahomes leads the NFL in passing touchdowns (114), and is second in passing yards (13,868) and passer rating (109.3) This past season, Mahomes completed a career-high 66.3% of his passes for 4,740 yards with 38 touchdowns to just six interceptions (108.2 rating). Mahomes also led the league in passing yards per game (316.0).

Mahomes also recorded his third-consecutive season with 4,000-plus passing yards, becoming the third player in NFL history with 4,000-plus passing yards in his first three years as a starter, joining Peyton Manning and Dan Marino. He also became just the seventh player in NFL history to throw for 4,500-plus passing yards and 35-plus passing touchdowns multiple times in his career. Mahomes is just the third quarterback with at least 110 touchdown passes in his first four seasons in NFL history, joining Marino (142) and Kurt Warner (111).

Mahomes has all these exploding stats with tieing to breaking other Legendary QB's records when he missed almost 3 full games in 2019 from a knee injury.

I know everyone keeps talking about Brady in the postseason but it was there Defense that got it done. They shut down Drew Brees, then sacked Aaron Rogers 5 times with a Pick and then held Mahomes to a measly 9 Points in the Super Bowl....NO TEAM HAS EVER EVEN CAME CLOSE TO DOING THAT AGAINST MAHOMES.

If Mahomes wasn't running for his life in that game being besieged with over half of the offensive line gone against a strong defense to begin with anyway I highly doubt that game would have been blown out and so lopsided like it was.

No Jones, No Gay, and No Sneed = No Problem.

Chiefs still got it done without those 3 defensively against the Chargers and now have won 7 in a row having the best record in the AFC as of now.

AFC West still goes through Arrowhead. Possibly all the AFC will.

It's funny how so many said that the Bills were the top gun this year and were likely to go all the way mainly because they defeated the Chiefs earlier in the season. When they are now only 2 games above .500 it will be interesting to see if they even make the Playoffs.

It's definitely beatable especially considering the longest made field goal was 67 yards by some kid in high school but as an NFL record now being 66 yards. It's unlikely only because in the Pro's they won't ever risk kicking the ball that far unless it's right at the tail end of a game with the losing team having the ball and down within a 3 point deficit or the game being tied with not much to lose with the game all but over with a couple of seconds left on the clock.

The football world mourns the death of legendary coach and broadcaster John Madden, fans and former colleagues are celebrating his legacy as an iconic football figure. He was a legendary broadcaster and video game mogul, he is among the greatest coaches in the history of football, ranking second on the list of all-time NFL head coach winning percentages of .759 winning percentage number 2 of all time behind Guy Chamberlin who had a .783 winning percentage. It will be unlikely that those records of a winning percentage from an NFL head coach will ever be beat either.

In the last regular season game in this season with the Chargers and Raiders with the game ending in a tie both teams would have advanced into the Playoffs and with the game actually going into overtime and 38 seconds left on the clock with the Raiders having the ball and content on running out the clock and playing it safe. The Chargers head coach Brandon Staley calls a time out....WTF ?

I'm not kidding when that really was the worst call in the history of sports the Chargers were guaranteed a playoff spot but Brandon Staley said ''Nope''. It was third and five and he stopped the clock when the Raiders were letting it rundown with the game being over calling that timeout gave them plenty of time and the chance to get the first down and they did...lol putting them in field goal range and making the field goal.

That timeout is what Brandon Staley will be remembered for because it was so stupid it might haunt him.

Seeing how the Raiders won it got the Steelers into the Playoffs to face the Chiefs and Ben Roethlisberger's retirement party started last night at Arrowhead.

Andy Reid has now reached the number 5 spot all time in most wins as an NFL head coach this year from Donovan McNabb, Alex Smith, and now Patrick Mahomes.

Re: NFL/NCAA Football Talk - 2014-15 Season

The Chiefs defeating the Bills in that Divisional playoff game was one of the greatest games off all time and one for the history books as that game is already etched into the pillars of history.

There are so many professional commentators and sport analyst that have said that was one of the craziest and most insane games they've ever watched and it was.

Patrick Mahomes had a combine total of 477 Yards and 4 TD's in that game against what was supposedly the number 1 defense in the NFL and the Bills also having the number 1 passing defense also. None of that seemed to phase the magician apparently.

Mahomes threw 177 Yards in that game after the two minute warning.

There was 25 points scored in the final 2 minutes of regulation between the Chiefs & Bills in that game and it's the most ever in NFL postseason history.

I found it humorous that with 13 seconds left in the game and Buffalo having a 3 point lead they showed the ownership and family members of the Bills players up in the luxury box celebrating hysterically like they all had just won the lottery before the game was over and even the bills players and coaches on the sidelines jumping and hugging each other like they have all been inducted into the hall of fame it's hilarious now because all that screaming celebration of joy was all for nothing because they ended up losing the game.

That's the same exact thing that the 49ers did when Patrick Mahomes came back and led Kansas City to three touchdowns in the final 6:00 minutes and the Chiefs overcame a double digit deficit in Super Bowl 54.

That said, never underestimate Mahomes and NEVER celebrate until the clock shows 00:00 because he is capable of ruining your dreams provided he has a healthy offensive line in front of him.

Because Mahomes can play like Neo in the Matrix and can do things that are very improbable and impractical.

CBS ranked that game at number 3 of all time for NFL postseason games and it probably was.

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/r...ong-best-ever/

I also have to applaud Josh Allen for his remarkable performance Mahomes and Allen that was a Quarterback Dual for the ages.

Their exceptional performance gave us some records and insane stats to remember.

During the victory of the Kansas City Chiefs in overtime against the Buffalo Bills, both quarterbacks combined for more 707 yards, threw seven touchdowns, had no interceptions, and rushed for 137 yards.

There has never been two quarterbacks in the same game to ever put up those kind of stats in a postseason game before.

Patrick Mahomes is tied for most games with a passer rating of 120 or higher per minimum of 20 pass attempts in the playoff season.

Mahomes, in just 10 playoff games has five postseason games with a minimum rating of 120. Just Tom Brady and Joe Montana equalize Mahomes.

Mahomes and Allen have the two-highest playoff career passer rating in NFL history.

During the game between Kansas City and Buffalo Bills, Mahomes and Allen combined for 246 yards, four touchdown passes, and just five incompletions in less than seven minutes.

Both attempted more than 20 passes. Patrick Mahomes had a 106.6 and Josh Allen had 104.8 passer rating.

Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen had the most productive and efficient quarterback playoff performance in NFL history.

It took Perfection from Mahomes to out perform Allen.

With that win the Chiefs are now the first team in NFL history to host the conference championship game four years in a row with it being at Arrowhead.

Those were painful losses I really wanted to see another Chiefs and 49ers showdown in the Super Bowl even though they didn't make it both teams still had a great year no doubt.

I can't believe that the second to last play right before the Bengals kicked the field goal in OT that run Joe Mixon made down field. He ran down the field untouched and fell down and then got back up without the ball making it a live ball..Mixon didn't get touched that should have been a fumble. I just hate how the rules aren't enforced every play like they should be.

Tyreek Hill signed a four year 120 million contract extension with the Dolphins making him the highest paid wideout in NFL history as of now.

We will see if Mahomes can still have explosive stats without one of the most dangerous wide receivers now...I knew the Chiefs wouldn't be able to retain everyone.

After a couple of years of the Broncos trying to get Aaron Rogers and couldn't they traded the farm to get Russell Wilson it will be interesting to see how it pans out for them this year with it getting underway.

Last week was a memorable week that I will never forget and neither will any Sportsbook

The 49ers, Bengals, Panthers, Colts, Packers, Titans, and Broncos were all favored and not only could they not cover the spread but none of them was even able to win the game.

It not only happened with many upsets like that in the NFL last week but also the NCAA as well Nebraska was a -23 favorite along with Note Dame was a -21 favorite, and Texas A&M were -17.5 favorites. None of those powerhouse schools not only couldn't come anywhere close to covering those spreads but were not able to win the game either.

There was a fortune lost between all those upsets I have no doubt.

Mahomes went 30/39 with 360 Yards and 5 TD's against the Cardinals, Showing he can still play just as good if not better without Tyreek Hill.

Week 6, Week 7, and Week 8 had almost 20 favored teams that not only couldn't cover there spreads but weren't able to win the game...That does not happen often in the NFL with so many upsets like that in just 3 consecutive weeks.

The NFC has really been turned upside down so far almost everyone thought the Packers, Bucs, and Rams who won the Super Bowl last year would be the top guns.

Packers are now 3-6, Bucs are now 4-5, and the Rams are currently 3-5.

Tom Brady really slumped but had a sick win last week against the Rams he threw for over 50 pass attempts without almost getting a touchdown and that has never happened in his long career until he was able to at the tail end of the game with .47 seconds left on the clock in the 4th quarter..Brady never scored a touchdown so quickly with so little time left before he set a record with his 55th game winning drive doing that.

The Buccaneers still have a great chance to get into the Playoffs considering how awful the NFC South is this year.

It will be interesting to see them play in a few hours the first ever regular season NFL game in Germany.

I was also thrilled that the Chiefs defeated the Titans last week, There the only team so far to have ever held Mahomes to under 10 points in a regular season game and just only doing it once last year in 2021.
