Baseball players sometimes never recover from it. Remember Niedenfuer threw a beach ball to Jack Clark and never recovered.

GB versus Cards - if GB wins, playoff experience again triumphs.
@k_lock, Seahawks vs Panthers is the big game of the weekend....

For seahawks vs panthers, light beer - debating on Stella vs Heineken...not much creativity here though.
For the broncos game, I'm feeling a stout dark...Murphy's was decent last time I tried.
Card's Fitzgerald ended the game on first Arizona possession in OT - quick, brutal, old school play...

I like the Sam Adams Rebel IPA. But a bit strong for early afternoon. I'll save that for the 4 o'clock game.
Maybe I'll have the Sam Adams Noble Pils for the early game.
And now for all you football fans... this is a must watch!!! Football.... a bad lip reading! |

From what I have seen the Panthers have been really solid this season (apart from the game before this one...). I think that was their only loss though?
I had thought the Chiefs may have gotten one over in New England
I have to say I find it amazing how long an NFL game can go on for!

Hah James - that's fresh...which game did you watch?
Panthers only had 1 loss before this game vs. Seahawks...they were destroying the Seahawks but Seattle made a late 2nd half run....wow, anyhow Panthers were favoured.
Steelers tried but couldnt do it - Broncos vs Pats for the conference final...ugh I think Pats are going back to Superbowl this year...

I have only watched a few in full. I am used to watching Rugby which has a lot less breaks!
I do watch the highlights for each match though which compresses it in about 10 mins per match so that does me nicely!

That number makes the premiership football in the UK look small! They are around the £4 billion mark (around $5.7 in US money)
Not a true like for like comparison though due to the vast difference in size of the 2 respective countries. But either way $12 billion. Impressive!

Impressive! | That is why the NFL is tinkering with London, Europe is the only market left with real growth for the NFL. With Latin immigration as well as other factors, I would think that the European soccer leagues have a better chance of penetrating the USA market than vice versa.
