Saw a few minutes ago a post from someone who was willing to connect to pubblic WiFi for getting the new IP to manage his accounts...
the usual stuff, the usual reply on how it is dagerous for the stealth accounts since the IP is overused but... this brought to my mind something I read a few months ago on web security.
This is a general warning for people who is using pubblic wifi.
The so called "man in the middle" attack is powerfull and it is very simple to activate... with a few $ even a newbie is capable of getting all your passwords with a device like this one:
I use two stealth accounts via public Wifi. Since 2009 has been zero problems. I keep it under 200 transactions per account so risk outweighs the reward. If you have a serious legit account I would agree why be careless. There are risks involved with public wifi depending on circumstances and it can be an option. Personally I think in many places it is less risky now because of how much work especially for US stealth it takes to get an account going.
