Re: Favorite Fast Food
Bigboss, Paleo is great and the point behind it is valid, but I noticed that I still had cravings and overall my body still had more ups/downs even with very healthy diet.
I then changed over to Keto-genic diet and its safe to say that I've never felt better.
Lots of avocados, lots of MCT oils and healthy fats. Body just runs on fat, not carbs and I feel mentally a lot sharper than I did with Paleo. Also one thing that I noticed with Paleo was my overall fat levels dropped quite a bit because the diet is not fat focused.
I'm 190cm tall and weigh around 75kg so I'm rather skinny and in good shape. I've been this tall since I was 16 and I've literally never fluxed more than 2kg in my weight, so I know my body pretty well and I can easily feel differences in the way my body feels and operates.
Paleo was great in a sense that I stopped eating few things that convert into suger once the body beaks it down but unfortunately I wasn't aware how much my body would want to burn fats if I don't consume sugars(pasta, grains, fruit) and once I had tried Paleo for few weeks I started feeling a bit slow mentally- Foggy is the best way to describe it.
Now I've gone full Keto and I feel lovely. I don't have cravings and I don't feel hungry between meals. I eat a lot of healthy fats and my body just feel light, sharp and everything just works like a well oiled machine.
During Paleo my kidneys started to hurt because my overall bodyfat level was so low. Its the same sort of feel I get when I've had a ton of alcohol and I'm so dehydrated that my kidneys hurt.
It takes me a week of non-fatty food and I can literally feel it.
Once I changed over to Keto, BOOM- No problems at all. Actually improved my joint mobility slightly and my knees feel better than ever.
(I'm 26, not 72- I just run a lot)
Favourite fast food? Dim sum and sushi.
