Think pad, there is a reason Dr s offices, government agencies, & most any business uses them, reliability. they are now made by Lenovo but they are a completely different animal. They are still built to IBM specs. They are tough, built strong, that have metal frames, real metal hinges, they are easy to service. I've dropped my T530 a few times & never an issue. I have a 3 year old machine with an I 7 quad core processor, 16 gig of ram & now a solid state drive. It's blazing fast. I have it running 4 separate monitors from a dock & it just plain works. Working is what Think pads are built for & they do it very well,

I'm a Mac guy but I still love lenovos. If not, I'd built my own pc, gaming beast. That 6700k i7 6th gen processor sounds so tempting.

The i7 6900 is coming out in a short while. Ill wait for that.
Going to combine it with Dual Titan X cards for a monster machine - not going to cheap out when I build my new system for the 3 X 4K screen setup and/or total VR experience via the HTC vive and the Oculus Rift (getting both).

Why repair through Dell and not small private service...unless warranty still intact?
