ebay - contacting someone else followers

I came to a little strange idea; I want to contact followers of user who no longer selling any products. Seller was selling the products that I sell right now. So I'm interested what is the best way to contact these followers? Are there any restrictions or any problems that may arise from ebay and how to avoid this problems? And generally what are your advices

It is a public list called "following" If you used ebay in the past few years you would know this......

Ebay has a series of deterrents for messages like this but you certainly could contact them.

You might get blocked from sending messages after a certain amount per day. I know it is several hundred for power sellers but I am not sure about fresh accounts.

What you should be very cautious about is offering to sell an item off of ebay.
