I am constantly logged out of my account. I think the time-out time is WAY to short here. If I am doing something else other than just typing up a thread or response, why should I be logged out and potentially loose my work?
Sometimes this does not happen, I log in again and I am re-directed to my work. Other times, I FREAKING LOOSE IT ALL!
My suggestion for the forum: No log-out until log off / browser close. Every other forum on the planet works like that.

& while it sucks that I now have to go and type that dang thread again, I am not fussing. This is an honest suggestion that I am sure would make the forum better and more enjoyable.

I've also never been logged out. I haven't had to log in since the day I bought this computer(4+ months ago). I do have a user account just for web browsing, so my cookies are saved for sites I frequently visit.

You could try that, it works for me.

I didn't think so because it happens whether I am at home or at the coffee shop or the library. Oh well. I will look into it I guess, cuz it sucks. Sorry for the irrelevant post, but at least I know, so the forum has helped me today.

The Coffee shop and library won't have your cookies saved, so that explains that. On your home computer, have you been deleting cookies? If you have theres, the answer to your question..

What system are you using? Always best to advise that.

It's an intermittent thing that happens. We've had a problem B4 a long time ago.. It's something at your end because I know for cetain that aspkin has this forum set up really effectively.

And certainly not ever forum on the planet keeps you logged in as you suggest. My other forums have all logged me off several times this week alone. I was logged off this one earlier about 9 times.

If it's bugging you, then do your post on notepad, then copy paste when finished.

Hmm.. I finally got around to fixing the problem where the forum logged a person out if they went to aspkin.com/forums instead of www.aspkin.com/forums ; hmm and it took all of 5 minutes to do. I feel bad for not fixing it sooner. :(
